Wonderful experience staying at AM Hafen Hotel . Had a room with two balconies over the Mosel River. One room was a very nice bedroom and the other a sitting room. They overlooked the city of Cochem being on the otherside of the river. Best location to be. The sun set on you. The sun rise put the light on... More

We've stayed at this hotel before, so we knew what we were getting when we booked again - a dated but very clean room with lovely views of the river and the BUSY city of Cochem a short walk across the river. But the hotel amenities had a short list; no lift, no frig, and even that has gotten shorter;... More

On the sunny side of Cochem facing the side where the tourists are but its a fiveminute walk across the bridge. Inhouse good restaurant and nice staff. Large rooms. Make sure to get a room with a balcony on the upper floors.

Our room at the Hotel am Hafen was spacious and clean. The staff was gracious and accommodating. We had a large soaker tub and plenty of clean towels. The reason it is not a five star review is that during our stay it was unbearably hot (Cochem was experiencing record heat). We understand that this sort of thing happens but... More

We had a great room with uninterrupted views of Cochem and the Burg across the river. Hotel is spotlessly clean and a LOT quietr than the hotel we have stayed at before actually in Cochem close to the river road. Breakfast buffet was very enjoyable and dinner served on the sunny outdoor terrace was very enjoyable with typical German cuisine.... More

We stayed in a room with a balcony and the view was exceptional of the city Cochem and the castle on the hill. The hotel is a very short walk from the city center and seemed to be much quieter at night than the city center. The hotel is very close to the mustard museum although the town is small... More

I visited Cochem in early April, really at the very beginning of the season, on a Sunday night. The hotel was not busy. I booked a budget room but got a room with a view of Cochem anyway - a gorgeous view, wow! A nice surprise that I was not expecting. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the best feature... More

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is friendly and breakfast very good. Unfortunately the hotel is a bit old, so either it's in the carpets or walls, but my husband had a pretty bad allergy the minute we moved into the room. The Internet is also very bad and slow. However I can't stress how mince the... More
