*This review is only for the Burg Hotel Restaurant* Stopped last minute for dinner during a road trip through the Moselle River Valley and were delighted to eat at this restaurant. Service was great, views of the Moselle River were amazing, and the food was incredible. We had the Pfifferlinge Schnitzel and Roulade mit Pfifferlinge, which were delectable. The recommended...

Old hotel with unfriendly staff! Reception service does not exist! The room is to hot with absolutely no ventilation. Not even in the bathroom. In my room there was a anoying sound from an industrial fan or something. Probably from the kitchen of the restaurant. It feels like it's no use to complain to the staff about it. If you...

I didn't sleep there, but I sure won't eat there any more. Of course there lot's of tourist traps in tiny Cochem and of course you'll be conned one way or the other, but the Burg Hotel & Restaurant is aiming for a price. Still haven't decided what that price would be. Do enter the place and be flabbergasted by...

Beautiful hotel with a traditional German setting and a beautiful view of the Mosel river. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you want to relax and enjoy your stay in Cochem, this is the place to choose. I'll definitely return!

This was the only hotel with availability for the night we needed 2 rooms. The lady at the front desk was obviously annoyed to have to work and any question was met with a grimace. We felt like we were ruining her day by staying at her hotel. No AC or fan was available for the hot stuffy tiny rooms....

This hotel was nothing special. Service was adequate and considering the location, is over looking the beautiful Moselle River, we were given a room overlooking a fire escape. To change rooms we would have had to pay half the price of the room again. The hotel closes quite early so we had problems finding the alterbative entrance which we eventally...

The owner is really nice and helpfull and the hotel got a great location but that is about it. Breakfast was also really good. But hotel really needs a renovation. It's really pricey for what you get. I would not stay here again. Cochem is a very cosy town though and worth the visit.

Dined here in the evening (not staying at the Hotel). We chose this restaurant as it seemed to be the only one with some helpful English on the menu. The building is fascinating in itself with an amazing and eclectic variety of artifacts decorating the interior. The location on the promenade is superb with views over the Mosel. We dined...

I travelled by car to Cochem. This hotel provided parking a brisk 10 minute walk away over crowded cobblestone streets. The parking was 8 Euro. You could not take a large bag because of the streets and there is no room for you in the hotel room if you have a large bag. The hotel location is good. The staff...
