We spent two weeks in Europe this past August and even though we visited wonderful places and saw magnificent views, our visit to Cochem was the best thanks to Bas, B&B Cochem's owner. He offered to pick us up from the train station (we saw the email too late) and from the first moment, he was attentive to our needs...

Found it up a narrow street, lovely welcome from Bas the owner. Room right on top floor bit of a climb. Lovely clean 3 large living areas. Breakfast every day was spot on Bas is a very tentative host nothing is to much for him. Had 3 great days there. Would and will go back again.

Just off main street in Cochem. Owner (Bas) was very helpful - picked me up at train station. Comfortable, clean, quiet. Good breakfast - set me up well for a day's sightseeing. Cochem is a beautiful small town in a picturesque part of the Mosel. Well worth a few days visit. Good Wi-Fi. Short incline to reach B&B - would...

Bas emailed us the day before and asked us if he could pick us up at the train station. How sweet is that. He took us back in to town and up the tiny cobbled street to his B&B and we waited while he parked his car. He then took us up to the third floor to our suite. Yes,...

Bas is the most perfect host. Lovely setting up a narrow street in the old part of Cochem. He helped us in with our luggage; offered a free drink on arrival; provided a lovely room at the top of the house; went through lots of information so we could get the most out of our visit - advice on boats...

We loved staying there! Cochem is one of the most charming little villages you can find. Our room was absolutely wonderful, Bas is a marvelous host, breakfast was fantastic and the overall experience the best we had in Germany! Can't wait to go back!

We are sooo pleased with our stay at this wonderful place! The rooms are perfect, the couple running it, perfect, the location, perfect, the terrass, perfect. We arrived and had a glas of wine, on the house, with the host Bas on the terrass. He showed us some information about the city and we told him that we were vegans...

We stayed with Bas at B and B Cochem for two nights and it was the best we could have hoped for. Fantastic host, very comfortable and extremely clean rooms and premises, great breakfast, relevant local information. Bas takes real pride in his business and it shows. B&B Cochem is a charming bed & breakfast up a cobbled street in the small Medieval village of Cochem. Bas and Bridget were warm and gracious hosts, welcoming us with a glass of wine on the lovely terrace overlooking the Moselle River and the town. They provided excellent dining tips and recommendations for sightseeing and even checked taxi and bus...

Bas picked us up from the railway station. This was the start of our wonderful stay in Cochem. Bas let us have a huge apartment as we were staying for a week which had a kitchen/diner, a bedroom, a sitting room and a bathroom. The breakfasts were wonderful, and slightly different each day. The location is perfect for walking around...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B&B is situated in a unique area in the old town quarter on the footpath towards the famous Imperial Castle alongside wine cellars and vineyards. Just a few steps away from the pedestrian area with restaurants and bars, various sights and the pleasant promenade along the Moselle and his famous riverboats. From this point you can easily explore the highlights of Cochem or any of the variety of attractions on offer in the region including: wine, art & culture, water sports & relaxation, a nature lover’s paradise for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists with many interesting paths. We also highly recommend attending one of the popular wine festivals, a trip to the Eifel Volcano, shopping & culture in the ancient Roman city Trier or to relax in the Aquapark Moselbad. In short: a special location for a vacation or a short stay for young and old! We hope to welcome you soon as our guest at B&B COCHEM. ... more   less
