My review of the hotel Brixiade: Don't expect this (or its sister hotel, the Triton) to be a five star hotel. Our experience was bad from check in. But this cuts the cake. After a hot day out, we returned to find that the airconditioning doesn't work. And they say that they have to get a technician to come. And...

The Hotel actually has no reception anymore. It is actually located at a hotel down the street which is a bit confusing and creates the atmosphere of a deserted building . The pool is a little bit strange , not really as nice as the photos but after a long cycling day the kids loved it. Rooms were clean, staff...

Lovely location but our room was noisy, hot and stuffy and did not have tea and coffee facilities. The beds were comfortable but noise from the side alley too loud to leave the window open. Breakfast and evening meal were okay but the evening buffet suffered due to sitting too long. Very expensive wine considering the location. Front desk closed...

This hotel was part of a tour we took to Cochem & Trier Christmas markets with Rail Discoveries. The hotel Triton is in need of an update. Very dark inside and room are not much better for light. The are basic rooms, which is fine for a few nights, (does have a hairdryer even though it stated on our travel...

Like others, we stayed here on a Rail Discoveries trip and paid for an upgraded room. We were delayed on arrival by 1.5 hours after the group and arrived at 8pm, in the rain and dark only to discover the dimly lit hotel reception had the shutters down with no information and no staff to be found. Not a great...

Stayed here on a visit with Rail Discoveries. Room at side of hotel, but had a view of the Moselle and the town. No drawers but had shelves, s plenty of room in the wardrobe for clothes. A safe too (no charge) which was useful. Our bathroom was big, with a large shower, although the water tended to change from...

We had booked a short break holiday with Rail Discoveries and thought we were going to the Brixiade Hotel but were directed to the Triton instead. These are sister hotels so this is how it works: your room is in the Triton; breakfast is in the Triton but drinks and dinner are in the Brixiade which is a couple of...

Visited last week. Hotel is sister hotel to Brixiade, and there is no bar or restaurant for evening meals, these have to be taken at the sister hotel. Breakfast is taken at the Triton and is plentiful and varied. The room I stayed in was at the front of the hotel with a wonderful view of the Moselle and Cochem....

A very nice stay here at the time of the Christmas market. Rooms are good with plenty of heat and hot water in the cold of winter. The town is just across the bridge. Breakfast and dinner were plain but good food. Only negative was a terribly designed wifi network they really ought to talk to their IT supplier about...

The location on the river frontage was excellent with a great view. Access to the town centre was an easy walk across the bridge. There was an extremely noisy music event taking place on the river frontage by the hotel on the Saturday night while we were staying, with live music until 1am. Without air conditioning, we needed to sleep...
