We loved our stay at Gastehaus Albers. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. We had four comfortable single beds, a pullout futon, dining table and chairs. The bathroom had the best hair dryer of our two week trip! The location is right in the center of town a short walk to the castle. The breakfast buffet was varied, even my... More

For less than $100USD per night you can stay at this bright, clean guest house in the heart of Cochem. Two blocks from the Rhine River and about 1/2 mile from the train station. The owner is very friendly and trying to work through the language barrier (she German, us English) was fun! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the... More

We had an enjoyable stay for 1 night! The breakfast was just fantastic! The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacy and clean. There was also a kitchen, fridge, coffeemachine and in the bathroom a hair dryer. This hotel is in the middle of the Center and also very close to the castle. The staff was friendly. You... More

We have spent two nights here with our 2,5 years old son. The staff was very friendly and even helped with the luggage. One should notice that the street is quite steep and there is only space for one car. It has the advantage to be in the city center and at walking distance from the castle.

We stayed 5 nights and highly recommend this place. The location was perfect-in the heart of town, walking distance to the train station. Every morning we were greeted by Frau Albers. We were provided useful information on our activities - walking through the historical town, biking to Belstein, hiking at Martental, going to the castle, shopping, dining. A special thanks... More

Frau Albers could be your wife or your mother, you are certainly treated as such by her. The atmosphere is very intimate and you feel like you are at home. Both the hotel and the way to get serviced seems as if one has moved in with Frau Albers, she talks a lot with his guests (preferably in German) and... More

The guest house is located in the heart of the city and has access for all city facilities. The rooms are big and clean. The Landlord hosted us very nice. Breakfast is rich and tastety. Disadvantges - No WiFi and limited free parking. In general, highly recommended.

We were there two years ago, and decided to go again to go to Cochem for the Dampfspectakel (Easter steam railway fair). We went back to Frau Albers and were not disappointed. She is very welcoming and for the English visitor with little German you might be concerned, but with a lot of smiles and sign language all problms are... More

I booked this B and B based on the previous Trip Advisor review and because I had trouble finding a hotel of my choice in Cochem. I tried at least 3 other places that were fully booked before finding a room at the Albers for myself and my two children. We chose Cochem in order to be close to the... More
