Though encountered some technical difficulties with the booking, the staff provided everything for our stay to turn out into a wonderful experience. Very good breakfast buffet, in a cosy restaurant in the hotel. Hotel respects traditional german architecture and is situated 5 mins walk from the city centre.

Spontaneous decision to overnight in Worms after celebrating with friends during a late night shopping evening (shops open till midnight) Small hotel with bistro and wine-bar; run by father and daughter. Simply furnished, small rooms but very clean. All the essentials but no luxuries. On a narrow road just outside the town centre but there is relatively little traffic at... More

Spent the night at this lovely and well-located hotel, just 5 minutes from the heart of the old town/Dom. There is convenient (public) parking to the back of the hotel (on a lovely little square). The rooms are slightly on the simple side but certainly 'adequate'. The breakfast was well-presented (cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, rolls and croissants) and everyone was... More

Romischer Kaiser is a small pension located right in the center of town, 10 minutes walk from the train station. There is no reception desk, but check in took 3 minutes to fill in the registration form and in case you need something there is always someone to assist you. A room key I received opened also a side door,... More

We arrived late on a Saturday evening, but having forewarned the hotel the kitchen remained open and we enjoyed a great 'flammkuchen' with local cantarelle in the cosy roof top area. Our hosts were helpful and welcoming and full of local information. The rooms were light, clean and well sized. The only negative was our room was on the corner... More

+ Reasonably pleasant, though in a boarding house sort of way. - 1. Across the road from (i.e. not in) the Altstadt (and main sights) and on the far side of the Altstadt from the train station. This, though, means that the hotel is closer to the Rhine than are other, more central, hotels. 2. Tediously, checking-in can only be... More

Stayed for 4 nights and turned out to be am excellent choice. A bottle of water and some small treats we left in the room on arrival. The manager hs good English. Rooms are compact. Breakfast is typical German with bread rolls, yoghurt, cheese & meat slices topped off with orange juice. If you are looking for a quality &... More

This is a typical local German hotel, offering a lot of charming gestures, but certainly no international comfort. The location is excellent, very central but still comparatively quiet. The hosts are very concerned and you do feel very welcomed. The room I had was indeed tiny, but had everything I needed for the one night. The TV had airline-in-seat-size but... More

We stayed for one night on our bike tour along the rhein and we enjoyed our stay. The bike were locked in the hotels garage, the room was very large with a nice bathroom, good tv, sofa, table and comfy bed. The hotel is nicely styled and charming both outside and in. It is centrally placed to see the dome... More

I spent five nights at this place in July/August 2008. The reservation had been made in advance with Booking.com, which I've used on other occasions with no problem, but the hotel in this case had no record of my booking. After a bit of foot shuffling I was accomodated in a twin room at the single rate but it was... More
