The owner was initially very welcoming and friendly, spoke English quite well. 2 of us were put into a single room which should only have fit 1 single bed. It was way too expensive for what we received. Embarrassing excuse for a makeshift kitchen which was only cleaned when we finally demanded it, poor internet access, no warm feeling. Very...

My husband and I stayed her for 2 nights 2 times. We were on business trip , and this place was convinced to us as to go to Dusseldorf as to Wizz airport. The hotel is in the city center near the Church of Grace, very nice surroundings. The train/bus station located only 10min distance on foot. You could easily...

we stayed there just overnight in between travels. although we arrived late and even much later than first announced, the lady waited for us and let us in. We had to pay straight forward but it's ok. Absolutely no complaints about the room, all was nice and clean and spacious. and the breakfast was so romantic - the restaurant is...

Although it has a great location in the city center, the staff are very rude, mostly to young people. They seek only to rent their rooms to pilgrims that travel often to Kevelaer. Better options around..

We spent here only 1 night, before the flight back home. We booked a room with 2 separate beds, but we got 1 big bed. Hostess promised lunchbox in the morning, because we had to leave about am. We paid for it, but we didn't get it and no moneyback. The hotel is in the centre of the city, and...

My family and some of their friends have stayed at this hotel for a number of years travelling from Scotland to Germany (flying into Weeze) to stay in the lovely Marian shrine of Kevelaer and in this lovely friendly hotel in the heart of the town. The owner Jutta has always made us very welcome and has helped us arrange...

The hotel is located extremely centrally. In fact it is so central that it's worth closing the curtains when getting changed so that pilgrims, visiting the Shrine Chapel, don't get rather more of a 'vision' than they expected. It is a small hotel, with a restaurant, largely catering to tour groups, downstairs. That said, the staff seemed unusually keen that...

The location of the hotel is right on the main square in Kevelaer with the Basilica a 2 minute walk from the front entrance. The decor and atmosphere is true, and in keeping, to the style of the building. Typically practical and formal. The staff were polite and pleasant. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to it. This was served in...

I stayed in this hotel last saturday for a night (I arrived at night to the Wheeze airport and I needed an accomodation near it). The hotel is comfortable, room was big and clean (with gazzosa and sweets!). I didn't sleep in the main hotel, but in a building near it (in the main square, too). I had some setback,...

My wife and I stayed here for two nights last week on a short trip to Germany. Chose the hotel and town because of their proximity to Weeze airport and rail access to Düsseldorf and Cologne. From reviews, the hotel sounded like a proper German guest house with good food, beer and atmosphere. However last week the hotel was deserted...

“If you have a hard luggage or it is difficult to you to go upstairs, you won't like the 4th floor we think. But , in our opinion, the furniture and bath equipment are better on the 4th floor. It is up to you what you want more - big old-fashioned room with a balcony, or a tiny but cozy room in the attic area.”
