We stayed here for one night to visit the castle near by. This is a great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was excellent, a lot of homemade produce offering great variety. Staff recommended a local restaurant, which was served excellent German food and we also made the trip... More

It was a long day of touring and it was late when we (three couples) arrived at Hannah's small hotel. They had taped an envelope with our room keys to the door and we felt right at home as we climbed the stairs to our clean, comfortable rooms in this little village! We went to a local brew house for... More

Arrived on a really rainy day, and immediately made comfortable and welcome. Our room was spacious and immaculately clean. Some rooms have a view of the castles, but even if you haven't, you only need to walk down the lane and they're right in front of you. Exceptional breakfast, a huge choice, and beautifully prepared. Excellent value.

We had asked for a large bed and this meant we were given a top room with a view of the two castles. There was a balcony and the bathroom even had a jacuzzi! Wish we had stayed more than one night! The breakfast was amazing, home made bread, so many different teas and very friendly staff.

Very quaint and charming hotel! We stayed 2 nights with our 2 young daughters. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a family of 4. The balcony even had a partial view of Neuschwanstein Castle. Our room was located on the front of the hotel so the street noise could be a little loud with... More

Our family of four spent a wonderful night at Landhotel Guglhupf. The hotel is simply charming, cozy, beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast is delicious. We loved the variety of foods, the tasty and flavorful homemade jams, the large selection of teas and the chocolate milk that my two boys couldn't get enough of. The staff couldn't be kinder.... Very charming, pretty, small hotel in a beautiful location - the photo from the road simply does not do its location justice. We had a nice room with a beautiful view. Management is excellent, informative and kind. Breakfast is wonderful - a giant buffet with home made food - healthy alternatives, brilliant home baked goods and real dried flowers and... More

I booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. The service was excellent, the staff were excellent, the room was excellent and the breakfast was in a different league to other similar hotels, I've never seen such a huge selection of breakfast options in a hotel in Europe. definitely definitely definitely worth a stay!

Very friendly. Owner's son checked us in and showed us our room. Very quiet and comfortable...best bed on our Europe trip. Owner's daughter attentively hosted the breakfast which had a wonderful selection. Easy access to the local castles. Also easy walk to good restaurants for dinner. Would love to return to this property for a longer stay.

Wow! I wish every hotel was like this one! Wonderful staff (carried our bags to our room and made us feel welcomed). Tasty breakfast. Nice bedrooms with balconies and comfy beds. Common room with espresso machine, wine, beer, water, etc. Plenty of parking. Free Wifi. Nearby great restaurants and castles. We will definitely stay here again! Can't wait to return!
