We enjoyed staying at the Hotel Alpenhof on our Euro car tour. The town I as pretty as a picture postcard, The Alpenhof is about a 10 minute walk from the town centre. Everything was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was the normal buffet. Good value for money

Visited for couple of nights on our trip to Austria. Very warm nice hosts, clean rooms, lovely not very big spa with comfortable water temperature swimming pool. No problems with car parking. Breakfast ordinary, but enough and much more, what everyone have normally at home. Hotel a little bit out of center, but with a walking distance through lovely resort...

Landlord is the rudest person ever. Screams and yells at guests. Totally unacceptable. Booked seven rooms, landlord only had six. Instead of helping to resolve the problem, he proceeded to scream and yell at me. He knew that he was over the top because for the next three days he did nothing but apologize to me. I avoided him. He...

We spent two days in this charming hotel with the family, incl. two younger children. The rooms are clean and well suited. The indoor swimmimg pool area is nit too big but great. The garden can be used as well and the staff is very friendly. There is a convenient bus stop very close to the hotel which connects you...

We took a weekend break to the wonderful resort-town of Bad Tölz to go to the center - Markstrasse, then to Alpamare thermal baths, and visit Kloster Benediktbeuren. We have stayed in Hotel Alpenhof years ago, but got reminded why we liked it so much! The reception was very helpful and friendly manned by the couple who owns the place...

We stayed here just one night but were extremely impressed with the warm welcome that we received here. The room (24) had a little private balcony and there s also a bath, which was a relief after several days in hotels without. The breakfast was excellent and the patron had a few very good dinner recommendations to boot. And the...

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days. It is extremely clean, breakfast is wonderful and the owners were always happy to help including search the web to find where to park in Munich for example. The whirlpool/sauna/swiming pool is a wonderful addition and was very welcoming when we came back to the hotel in the evening. All in all...

As the other reviewers have said, a nice, friendly, extremely clean hotel, located a few minutes away from the noisier parts of town. The rooms were on the small side, but it was great to have a coffee pot and fridge. The only negative is the lack of air conditioning. The rooms were very warm during the day, but luckily...

I stayed here for a one-night getaway from Munich. The staff were very good (Herr Ostermann in particular), and the room was very nice. The breakfast buffet was very good. The location is nice--a very short and pleasant walk from the city center. I recommend it highly.

“We upgraded the room to a family room (although there were only 2 of us) - highly recommended - there is alot of space and the kitchen area came in handy. One should take into account that if the hotel is full there may not be parking place in the hotel parking, however it is possible to park on the street.”
