The Steinbach is a super hotel in Beautiful Ruhpolding. Even though there is no lift, i still give it a 5 stars. The room was large with plety of storage and the bathroom was modern and spotless, just as the room was. Great facilities including a swimming pool. whirlpool, saunas and treatment rooms and gymnasium. The half board consisted of...

We have been to Ruhpolding 4 times now and are planning on visiting again. We like walking and there are so many beautiful walks to enjoy. The hotel staff cannot do enough to help and the waiting staff are very efficient friendly and helpful. There is an excellent choice of food. The hotel has a lot of character. The village shopping...

This beautiful Bavarian styled hotel is well located for walking into Ruhpolding - a delightful fifteen minute walk over the river. We booked with Thomsons and our room was refurbished at the front of the hotel with a large balcony - comfortable chairs with cushions supplied. We were on the second floor and although it overlooks the road that did...

We spent two great summer weeks in this delightful chalet hotel in the holiday village of Ruhpolding. The service was excellent throughout the hotel; friendly but relatively formal. The set menu four course meals were a real surprise after several buffet style hotel stays (and the accompanying bobbing up and down between and during courses). The discreet waiter service made...

Staying here was, overall, a pleasant experience but not without its issues. Having read reviews about noise from the road in front of the hotel, I had emailed asking for one in a quiet location. On arrival, we were shown to a large room at the back of the guesthouse block which was well back from the road. The room...

We booked the hotel as a Thomson holiday package. Its well located for the town centre with its bakeries, cafes & shops plus train & bus services. Very friendly and helpful receptionists and pleasant staff in the restaurant too. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel but road noise wasn't an issue. We had a lovely spacious balcony with....

The Steinbach Hotel is located a short level walk from the centre of Ruhpolding. It is in a picturesque setting with meadows behind the hotel leading up to tree-covered hills. The hotel is on a side road about two hundred yards from the main road into the town but we noticed no excess road noise. The hotel is a fair...

I'm reviewing this in light of it being the first year that Crystal have done winter package holidays here so some of this review is about the hotel and some is about the snowboarding. The hotel is fantastic. I stayed in a single room which was bigger than I expected and had everything you would expect to find in a...

We stayed half board at The Steinbach for 10 days in September 2015 as part of a package holiday. The hotel is well situated and our ground floor room had an outside area with table and sun-loungers. The room was comfortable - although our beds were definitely single beds rather than attached singles that make a double bed as you...
