This family-run hotel is a beautiful refuge in a very quiet village from which you can tour easily to lovely destinations such as Cremona, Mantova and Lake Garda. Our room (Il Priore) was huge, very comfortable and with a magnificent bathroom. The wonderful family that own/run the hotel are kindness personified - they do everything they can to make your... Palazzo Quaranta is located with views of the main square of Isola Dovarese. It's an old building, beautifully restored on the in- and outside. The interior is reminiscent of an old palace, with high ceilings and frescoes. The place is family run and has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished in a... More

I have been here many times as I have business to take care of in the area and a good friend of mine living in Isola Dovarese. Very small town at the center of triangle between Mantua, Cremona and Parma. Actually it is a very convenient place if you want to visit those places. Back to the hotel. Old Palazzo... More

Before our visit I was impressed with the views of the rooms on the hotel website and the enthusiasm of reviews on tripadvisor. We stayed one night in the Stradivari room and it was every bit as good as shown on the website. The value for money was exceptional. We had dinner in the hotel and we were given very... More

We spent 10 days in Isola Dovarese this summer and spent most evenings and Sunday lunchtimes at "Palazzo Quaranta" The fulled restored period property is a marvel in itself will beautifully painted ceilings and walls frescoes. Sitting out at night listening to a band palying on the square ordering delicious home made ice cream concoctions and Italian cocktails was a... More

Old palace building, nicely renovated rooms, a bit kitschy and cozy, good beds and mattresses, modern bathroom installations, well working air-conditioning and good electricity installations, nice view on a picturesque old small town from most windows, familiar atmosphere, very nice and helpful patrons, good value especially if you use the double room as a single room, good breakfast including prosciutto... I stayed at the Palazzo Quaranta in connection with a dinner booking at the dal Pescatore. I regret that I only stayed one night and did not have the opportunity to eat at the Palazzo Quaranta. I did have breakfast, which was very good, and have a feeling (espically after studying their menu) that the food at the P.Q. is... More

It was worth the trip! We slept in the 'Cardinale'. The bathroom is amazing and there is a little balcony. It was great. Isola Dovarese is a very small town. We went there following the Gambero Rosso.

I have stayed at Palazzo Quaranta many time together with some of my Chinese colleagues. The hotel offers great individual rooms in different price levels. The location is really nice in the middle of the old town Isola Dovarese. Very quiet and calm. We spent a night outside in front of the hotel and had dinner under the italian sky.... More
