Spent a week here, bed and breakfast. The room was superb - top floor, almost a suite, with a walk-in dressing room and top end bathroom. Seems to have been renovated recently, so everything felt new and clean. Breakfast was also excellent. The place looks vaguely careworn from the outside, but inside everything is really well sorted out. Staff are... More

The hotel is a bit off the more crowded Titisee, but commands a wonderful view over a valley of the Black Forest. Being away from the crowds, the hotel is very quiet. The original building dates from the 60s, and that is visible in things like the pool and some of the rooms. Yet I understand that they are just... More

The Saigerhoeh is undeniably a big hotel, spread over about 200m so it can take quite a long time to walk for breakfast or to the Sauna complex, not a place for those feeling unsteady. However large the hotel seems able to absorb and serve a lot of people with ease. The Panorama rooms are reasonable suites and have recently... More

Great location for star trips around the black forest. We stayed with 3 kids in a 3 room apartment that was quite big for all of us. The breakfast is big and diverse and the stuff was friendly. The only one bad point that I have found was the laundry. After staying more than 1 week in the hotel I... More

I made a booking on the hotel website for 2 adults and one child and received 3 confirmations confirming a price of 159 euros per night. (Luckily?) I decided to add another night so I telephoned the hotel who confirmed the third night at the same price of 159. When the 4th booking confirmation arrived the price had increased by... More

This hotel is set in amongst the beautiful Germany rural countryside and nestled in amongst the trees at the edge of the forest. The staff were friendly and willing to help. The hotel itself is a little old and tired but renovation were taking place while we were there so hopefully this will freshen the hotel up. If you get... More

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend (3 nights) in April. To summarize: we both felt we looked 10 years younger when we left, it was that relaxing. We had a lovely 'Apartment' Room, which was basically a small suite with a balcony, stunning view, walk-in closet, and spacious bathroom. I won't say anything about the decoration... More

Ok let me be clearer about the title. The hotel is large, be ready to walk from the rooms to the restaurants. The SPA/swimming pool and indoor gym (huge kid playground) is really far. Now let's talk about the differences, they are in the rooms. The hotel is actually renewing the rooms. Ask for the new ones (02.2015). The difference... More

We were doing a long weekend-trip through the black-forrest in July'14 when we met the area around Titisee. Staff was pretty friendly and very obliging. We had a dinner at the restaurant, and it was fantastic. We have chosen this hotel, because of the wellness offerings - and went to the saunas: We're pretty satisfied. Very nice hotel, directly facing... More
