Super friendly staff, lovely meals, great facilities, boundless hospitality, clean and spacious (family) room. The swimming pool was very popular with the kids. It was also very nice that we really felt children were genuinely welcome and their needs were also taken into consideration. We enjoyed a wonderful time im Schwarzwald!
Great hotel with fantastic facilities. We stayed 3 nights just after Christmas for a short ski break in Feldberg. We stayed with a familiy of 4 in a suite where the sitting area was turned into additional bedroom. We had an amazing full board experience and good service. Only minus: the bathroom had no shower.
This place is truly stunning and everything screams luxury. From the embroided towels, the crockery with the logo down to the stunning rooms and the exquisite food. Plus side: Rooms are absolutely stunning Location is beautiful Has a private garden for a beautiful walk The food is not only absolutely delicious, but also beautifully presented The breakfast buffet offers a HUGE selection and is so much more than a buffet breakfast Afternoon tea is included and the cakes especially will leave you wanting more! Mini bar included in the room price! We had a resident suite and the room came with a big tub in the room and the room was MASSIVE! Downside Stairs in lots of places making certain areas unavailable to those in wheelchairs and more challenging for lesser abled guests. Parking is a little walk away from the hotel, incl. disabled parking. Full board. Sure having all food included is great but half board is better. We were barely around for lunch to enjoy it. The head pillows are strangely small and very flat Room, despite paying more than €500 a night, didn’t have tea/coffee facilities Not all staff can speak English. Had spa treatments and fortunately I can understand some German but my husband didn’t which did make this less relaxing. Some prices for drinks were high. Around €9 for a bottle of sparking water is a bit much. All in all, we did have a wonderful stay and felt completely and utterly pampered and relaxed, just a few minor aspects, with the disability one being quite an important one to address.…
We don’t live to far away from this hidden gem of a hotel. Tucked away in a little scenic place in the blackforest. The past year has been a sham so we decided to go just for one nights relaxation and a break from work and chaos. The welcome is always amazing. So familiar - warm friendly staff. Super comfy immaculately clean rooms. Wellness area is just great, treatments are wonderful. We had a delicious meal, great wine and a few well made cocktails. Value for money is great, the hotel and the grounds are really beautiful.,we cant wait to go back .
Very good and luxerious rooms, especially the bthrooms were very complete and top, but also the beds and all faciltities in the rooms. Free minibar usage, but will be included in the price I assume. Overall quite expensive and there was no option to book half board or anything less that full board. This must also be included in the price so overall there's a lot included that you may not use. But very nice location, top hotel good facilities and certainly recommended several days, both during summer times but I presume also during the winter time. The surroundings will definitely look different from what we experienced during the summer.
Stayed previously for work conferences, beautiful location and facilities so went back for a short family weekend break. OSCARS restaurant on the Saturday night the high point, an experience! Great gym and spa, loved outdoor pool and Erdfeuersauna. Hopefully it snows next time.
The hotel is one of a kind, I can highly recommend it, outstanding service, food and ambient surroundings. Highlight for me was the breakfast! All in all we were spoiled and look forward to another stay there soon!
Stayed here on our 1st night of our road trip. Wasn’t expecting a lot as it was a passing through type of stay but the hotel and setting were amazing. Stunning scenery and beautiful landscapes. The hotel was quiet so no probs getting a table etc. Food and drink were really good and had a really good deal as was not in high season. Loved the bar area in the restaurant! Our only criticism was we didn’t spend enough time there! Highly recommended
My husband and I stayed one night here on our Germany road trip due to its proximity to the Christmas market at Ravenna. It was easy to find within the quaint town when we arrived. Our room was in the historic Black Forrest guest house just next to the main building, which we loved. It’s also the same building where breakfast is served so we didn’t have to put on our coats, simply walk downstairs! The room was cozy and comfy, with a lovely modern bathroom. Dinner was traditional Bavarian fare, with a good wine menu. The breakfast buffet was one of the most superior I’ve seen. The size and variety of options was excellent! Parking was offered right behind our guest house building, which was great. Staff was kind and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!
Welcome tho the Parkhotel Adler in Hinterzarten. It is a really good place if you are looking for a place where you can lay back and relax. The hotel itself is a bit down-and-out through the years. I used to come here almost every year bewteen 1996 and 2005 and things havend changed reslly since then. Besides that the hotel is amazing. The food is very good, the wellness area is okay. For a luxury hotel with five starts it is too small. The room where the massage takes place is loveless and there is no music and no essential oil that stimulates the spirit. You have an indoor pool and an outroor pool. In summer you can also chill outside in the private park of the hotel. This park is ample so you can have a good walk there. Breakfast is served in the chalet right next to the main building. It is amazing! I really can recommend this hotel. You can walk ski run golf chill eat and swim. So enjoy it. Important to know is that from new years eve 2019 the hotel is closed due to renovations until april 2020. new bar, new entrance, new new neeew :-) i will be back and let you know how things have changed.…
