From the warm welcome at our arrival and personal escort to our rooms (in English) to the fabulous 5-course evening meal and the tremendous service, cozy and delightful rooms, lovely public spaces, awesome breakfast with one of the best buffets ever - this hotel is a winner of both hearts and stomachs! I can't wait to return.

If you're looking for a picturesque hotel with lots of character, great food and overall excellent value, Kaisers Tanne is an excellent choice. It's family run, the staff is very helpful and the proprietor is both affable and charming. We both had massages, and they were great. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable with great views, although the bathrooms...

This was our second stay, and we loved it just the same. Excellent service, somptuos meals, friendliness and lots of romanticism. It gave us a good impression of what the Black Forrest region is all about.

Road tripping across Bavaria to Black Forest and the snow started falling and roads were getting very slippery ..... time to seek shelter and how lucky I was to find this amazing place. In London you would surely need a millionaires bank balance to enjoy such a place but this was top class service throught at very affordable rates. Fantastic...

We stayed at Kaisers Tanne during the school holidays with our two children, aged 11 and 2. The room was ideal, with a large bathroom, master bedroom, children's room (with bunk beds and a cot) and a small lounge all decorated traditionally. The only, very slight criticism I have of the room is that it didn't have a bath which...

I booked 2 rooms for our family on booking for the week end. The owner said that the 2 rooms were not appropriate, that I should cancel them and she would book two other rooms for us. I received on the following day a email to inform us that the hotel was full. Disgrace!

Myself and my wife love to go through the black forest every now and then. Finally found some time to spend for ourselves and found by accident this place. The price is slightly more expensive than what we would have initially thought (not too much availability at that time). Big Room with a very nice reading area and beautiful room....

It was a very nice place with friendly staff. There is a gently hiking road next to the hotel.Very modern rooms and safe. There is a welness center and a pool. Most "large rooms" have balconies.Breakfast, lunch and dinner was fine.I liked the place, i would go there again if i visit the black forest.

I treated myself besides my busy work weeks and spend two nights in this hotel. Since it is in the middle of the nature and close to a forest, I took long walks and enjoyed the nature to the maximum. The hotel has a nice restaurant which is quite known in the area. Furthermore, there's a indoor pool for days...

This restaurant/hotel offers way more than you might expect from its location way out in the sticks, outside a tiny village in the Black Forest somewhat off the beaten track. This, of course, makes it extremely quiet and peaceful. Built like a large Black Forest home, it fits right in, as does its dark-wood interior with the many tasteful decoration...
