Me and two colleagues stayed here for a business trip. Given the location with the market square within walking distance, this place was still quiet enough to have a good nights sleep. I received the smallest room of us three, which was still large enough in my opinion. Apparentlly the rooms with a balcony offer more space, and the balcony... More

On our way home from Italy, our last stop before home in Denmark was in Wernigerode. The hotel is quite beautiful and our room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was good, and the hotel is located within walking distance from the Market Square where we found a very good restaurant, Gotisches Haus, for dinner.

Location: 10 minutes walk from the central square of Wernigerode. Overlooks the castle. Located in historical half timer house on the street with medieval houses. Looks really cozy and nice. Free parking available on site, which is super convenient. The rooms and the hotel are in very good condition, furniture is new and nice, everything works properly. There is a... More

Stayed to visit Weinachtsmarkt in town. Very busy so there was only one option an apartment room. This was very comfortable and spacious although we couldn't really benefit from facilities: very nice in summer probably. The bathroom was new and excellent. Breakfast buffet very generous. Walkable to town and station.

This is a hotel Garni, that is they serve no food except breakfast. It is a **** star hotel, well the room is small, the bathroom very small, it has what you need, but nothing more. In my opinion typical *** stars. Wifi is slow, and not very good. The big plus is the breakfast, it is excellent.Easy walking distance... More

We had lovely room, albeit a little small, with a balcony and windows on 2 sides which meant that it was fairly cool. ( No a/c) The spotlessly clean bathroom was very small, but adequate with a tiny shower. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. Breakfast had a good range of cheeses, cold meats etc. Good value for... More

New year trip with four nights at Hotel Fürstenhof. Located about 15 min walk from town centre and very near the castle (15 min uphill walk). Staff very helpful and room 302 clean if a little small. Very well finished bathroom with shower only. Breakfast was probably one of the best continental breakfasts ever, including scrambled or hard boiled eggs.... More

We spent two nights at the Fuerstenhof to visit Christmas markets in Wernigerode, Quedlinburg (both beautiful) and Goslar (too crowded). The hotel proved the perfect place - spotlessly clean, warm and quiet (despite wind and snow outside). We even had a balcony though too cold to use it! Town a short walk away along a quiet road by a river.... More

We are a coupe and stayed at this hotel in September 2013, when traveling to the Harz Mountains. It was a nice small hotel, with kind staff, well located between the city center and the schloss (castle). We stayed there for 2 nights. Clean rooms, nice view. On the first day we paid EUR12 each for breakfast which was amazing:... More

We wanted to stay in Wernigerode for three nights and this fitted the bill! The rooms we had were all very well fitted out and we were impressed, though as has been suggested, the wifi could use some fine tuning. We don't really do breakfast so missed out if other reviewers are to be believed. We walked to the market... More
