I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, which I found to be a good value because the room includes use of the spa, a transit pass that can get you as far as Freiburg, and a substantial breakfast. The only downside is that it is a little bit far from town to walk back and forth.

Hi there, Really bad service, unpolite and disrespectful stuff on Hubertus. Totally not recommendable in you think on staying for a night on the lake. The hotel looks at the first sight really cozy and nice, but the thruth is really different. They didnt mention in advance they have a full booking list for the restaurant so they didnt serve... We stayed at the hotel for three nights in August 2016. The location is excellent; alongside the beautiful lake with options for swimming, boating and cycling nearby. Note that there is a railway and main road near the hotel; we did not find then obtrusive but it does mean that it isn't one of those truly out of the way... More

We only stayed here one night and wished it had been longer. This hotel is standing alone at the side of the lake and we had a lovely view of the lake from our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean and a very high standard. The restaurant is excellent and our waiter was extremely knowledgeable when we needed help... More

The experience already started on our way to the hotel. The tiny road that leads to the house was covered with snow. The lake is alongside the road and the view is stunning. It was real fairytale-like scene. Even though the snow eventually turned into heavy rain, our good mood was never jeopardy. Because the rest of our trip to... More

We stayed here after shopping in France and we wanted to go skiing in Feldberg. The place is lovely, old, clean, spacious, great lake view and sooooo quiet. We enjoyed our one night stay.Breakfast small but had everything you could need. The restaurant overlooks the lake which is at breakfast time lovely.

If you are in the area and want something a bit special, then this is the place to stay. The setting and style of the hotel are excellent. The manager (Felix) goes out of his way to be helpful and enjoy your stay in the area. We stayed here 4 nights and explored much of the region on foot (and... More

We booked 7 nights at the hotel on May-14. We had two rooms: one for my wife and me and the other for our two daughters. The rooms were big and clean with view of the shluchsee lake. Brakfast was very good (even after 7 times). Internet reception was OK. There is no lift for the upper floors. The price... More

My boyfriend and I booked here literally last minute as we drove through the black forest and it was really wonderful. The lake was beautiful and peaceful and the water was warm. We had a nice, large room in the building separated from the main building with a view of the lake. My only complaint is that the room was... More

“All of the rooms are comfortable and cleaned to perfection. Most have a view of the lake. The room we stayed in for our two visits had a balcony/patio with spectacular views of the lake and forests. We consider it the best room in the hotel.”

“Room 31 was very nice, on the ground floor, with no view to speak of, but bathroom was huge, with very good water pressure, and beds were comfy. Two mattresses and covers. Cosy bathrobes, which you can also put on after swimming in the lake, while relaxing in the sun.”
