Bigatt, quality B&B, is a charming accomodation located in a completely renovated villa. The private flat is composed of two autonomous rooms ensuite.The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, service is attentive and careful. The quality of services and the great attention paid to every detail make it a favorite destination for couples, families and friends seeking a refined and relaxed ambiance at the same time to visit the area of Milan for leisure or for business purposes. The friendly owners live next door and are always available to meet your needs. Located in Vanzago, in a quiet residential area 12 km from Milan, Bigatt B&B is placed in ideal position to easily reach the charms, shops and museums of downtown Milan (20 min), EXPO MILANO 2015 (8 min by train), the Lakes area (Lake Como and Lake Maggiore at 40 min) and Milan Malpensa or Milan Linate Airport (35 min). Bigatt, thanks to the excellent connection to public transports, is the perfect starting point to visit the area even without need of a car. Milan can be directly reached in only 20 minutes by train. The train station of Vanzago is located 300 meters (5 min walk) from our house. The commuter train is connected with the underground in several stations, allowing guests to get anywhere in town. You will find safe free parking inside the property. Bigatt is also only 10 minutes by car or two stops (8 minutes) by train to FIERAMILANO RHO (Milan Fair), being the ideal accommodation for exhibitors and visitors who wish to reach easily and quickly the new Exhibition grounds of Milan: just 15 minutes from the B&B to the Fair!Guests will find an apartment with autonomous entrance, composed of two cozy autonomous rooms, each with private bathroom ensuite, with all comforts of an hotel and tastefully decorated with references to the ancient local silk spinning. "Bigatt" is the silkworm in Milanese dialect. The Shantung and Tussah rooms are equipped with: - private bathroom ensuite with shower, hair dryer and courtesy set, - free high speed Internet WI-FI, - self adjustable air conditioning, - LCD TV HD, - electric kettle with selection of coffee, tea and infusions, - minibar with drinks and snacks, - safe for PC, - high thermoacoustic insulation windows with mosquito nets, - lovely furnished private balcony (for the Shantung room).

Review: I stayed at this b & b for one night with my family... I must say that we had a great stay... the bed super comfortable, the colors of the room cozy, the rooms are well lit... in the room there is the 'necessary to make coffee and tea (all of first quality).. the small bathroom but well cared for in detail with a beautiful turquoise color... having stayed for one night I did not have the 'necessary for the full shower but I was pleasantly amazed to have found everything available (shampoo, conditioner and shower foam) and even the hairdryer... very nice aesthetically... unfortunately we did not have the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Laura but was super kind and helpful in every way.
I highly recommend it to anyone... we will definitely be back.

Shopping or meeting in Milan ? This is the best place to stay . The B&B is very cosy and is located in a very quite neighborhood. Laura is such an amazing host and is very helpful in every single thing you may require . Room super clean and furnished .

Comfortable. Clean. Congenial. Cozy. We stayed in this charming and wonderful place for 7 nights and it is MARVELOUS! There is nothing negative I can think about the room, the breakfasts, the location, the experience. Laura is WONDERFUL and ACCOMMODATING!!!! It is quite difficult to express in words my gratitude to Laura for creating this wonderful "home away from home". You must experience it to know why I am writing this review of high praise. As to location - the B&B is a comfortable 5 to 7 minute walk to the train station to access trains to Milano, Malpensa Airport, or other destinations. You do not need a car because the trains go everywhere except into the rural countryside.

We had stayed there only for a day. The place was great standalone, but I dont think it was well connected .
It was well decorated and neatly done up, and the proprietor couple were very very sweet and helpful.
I would recommend that you stay there if you like walking or have your own transport. In which case, its well worth the money.

Thank you for your kind review and for appreciating our warm welcome. It was nice to have you as our guests, even for less than a day. I am sorry that you had the impression that our property was not well connected. You do not explain why, in any case I remember that in half a day you had the chance to come from Malpensa and make a quick visit to Milan, before your departure early the following day. We are indeed located between the airport of Malpensa and Milan and the charms of the city are aren't far away, even if we are located outside the town. There is no need to have a car as the train stop is merely 5 min walk from our house and it takes 20-25 mins to reach directly the city center. Moreover the train is perfectly connected to the underground lines in various stations, so that you can reach any area of the town. This property was by far one of the better places we stayed at while in Italy on our 16 day adventure. The room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. Laura is a wonderful hostess who takes great pride in her B&B. We would not hesitate to return if we are ever in the area again. The B&B is very nicely decorated and felt like home from the moment we walked in. The owner, Laura, is very knowledgeable on the area and gives great tips on places to go, visit and how to get there.
Location, Location, Location: There is no need for a car. There are many shops in the neighborhood and places to explore. A hope, skip and a jump from Milan. Easy to access from EuroRail and Metro, Laura gave us perfect directions and was very gracious even when we showed up late at night, due to our travel mishaps. We recommend an unlimited transportation pass for the train and bus lines, which we used during our stay.
The only down side we could find (and we all debated putting this is in) was that we went during the July heat wave, we had to leave the windows open since there is no a/c at the property and normally not needed. The street was very noisy, even late at night. Maybe a big fan in the room would keep things cool and reduce the noise. I would wait till the kids fell asleep and then opened the window up wide, that's how safe the area felt.
Again, We would not hesitate to return if we are ever in the area again.

Thank you for staying with us and for your appreciation! Our B&B is located in a quiet residential area. Unfortunately during your stay the night was noisy due to a wedding party in the neighborhood with motorcycle enthusiasts and bikers. In any case, in order to guarantee a serene stay to all our guests, our entire house is now air conditioned. Moreover our triple glazed windows ensure sweet dreams for all our dear guests. Situated a short train ride from the centre of Milan. We were greeted by our host Laura whom is very friendly, helpful and informative. She spoke excellent English. The room was very clean and tidy with an excellent bathroom. You will not go hungry here with an excellent choice of food for breakfast, with home made cake which was very tasty. On our day of arrival which was later than anticipated she recommended two places to go and eat, you would not be dissapointed with either. I thoroughly recommend this B&B.

We spent at wonderful few days at Bigatt B & B in May 2013. Laura was exceptionally helpful to us all (family of 5) and nothing was too much trouble (including translating italian instructions for how to change the seat configuration in our hire car!). The breakfasts were wonderful and it was so lovely to chat to Laura each morning. We would love to come back.

We stayed here one night sightseeing in Milan. Laura, our host, has recently completed renovating this place and has really done a superb job. The room was spotless and breakfast was very generous. The rooms have excellent sound proofing and climate control.
THe B&B is about 1/2 hour by train to the center of Milan, situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, at a short walk from the station.
Overall we were very impressed and would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Milan.

We stayed at Bigatt B and B in September 2011, and while it was a little out of the way, we ended up loving Bigatt B and B, the host, Laura, and had a very enjoyable time in Vanzago! The room and bathroom were clean and very attractive. Laura was very attentive. We were supposed to check out, but I had become ill and Laura brought me a heated hot water bottle, antacids, and let us have a late departure while I continued to sleep. Laura also speaks fantastic English, which was helpful, as we were first timers to Italy with no Italian. We stayed at Bigatt B and B before and after a trip to Florence as our flights were through Milan and we were so excited to have a chance to come back. We were also embraced by the regulars at the It's Only Rock n Roll pub by the commuter train station.
