Really atmospheric feel to this hotel, looks a little medieval but it's not. Felt like I needed a satnav to find my way around the hotel but this was part of the quirky nature, lots of tunnels going to rooms, bars etc. My room was well equipped, with a slightly strange layout (like the hotel as a whole) but comfortable....

Rooms are extremely small. The night shift staff is extremely helpful but the day shift staff is not really paying attention what the guest is looking for. Great restaurant, delicious food. Smiling waitresses. Sushi bar closing at 9.00pm is non sense and unacceptable. Overall, not bad. Could be amazing with a little bit of extra caring. Beds being single beds...

It was 30 degrees plus the week I stayed and no AC made for a completely sleepless night. As a conference hotel I'm sure it's fine. It's very German with little interest in English speaking. I was only here because everything else in ten was sold out and would not rush back. Having said that, the staff was friendly and...

My company scheduled two days of meetings at this unique hotel located 30 minutes from downtown Dusseldorf. I was skeptical but cancelled my reservation at the Dusseldorf Hilton when my friend and meeting organizer told me that this was his favorite location in the Dusseldorf-Cologne-Leverkusen area. He was right. The rooms vary greatly but even the less-expensive one that I...

My partner and I were traveling from Switzerland to Amsterdam so needed somewhere where we could relax and have a swim after the long drive. The place was perfect. Just right off the motor way and so easy to find. Couldn't believe how big it was! We also ate here and enjoyed our dinner. The spa and pool area is...

Interesting hotel with nice rooms and wonderful surrounding. Very serviceminded personel. Very uniq story to the hotel that has been build in stages from an old farmhouse. The spa department is good with both inside and outside pool. Can be recommended!

Had to visit a customer in Wuppertal on my last day before summer holiday. So I took my family by car to Gut Hoehne before the visit. Very convenient because close to the Autobahn A3, just few minutes from Duesseldorf and 30min from Wuppertal. During me working my family enjoyed the wellness area of Gut Hoehne, Pool, Fitness, Sauna with...

Fantastic pool and relaxation space. The pool was 31degrees and nice and warm, there were flotation devices you could use and a bicycle in the water you could use. The gym had everything you could need. I liked that they had clearly defined children pool times so you could avoid children if you wished.

I love this place. It is an old farm that has been converted to a wonderful hotel and spa. The spa area is incredibly beautiful with everything you would expect from a german spa. the food is outstanding and the staff incredible. I highly recommend this place, but do realize these are european style rooms. No air conditioning and the...
