My husband and I wanted to enjoy some quiet time and enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains. We got everything we wanted and more. The cabin and the property were lovely. The staff was great, accommodating, and friendly. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We took advantage of the grocery delivery service they offered and were happy with the quality of the items chosen. We stayed in Creekside Cabin in late October. The cabin had an outdoor wood burning fireplace that overlooked the creek. We sat outside in front of the fire every afternoon after walking the property. It was more relaxing than I imagined and the time flew by. Might sound boring, but it was not. Who knew? There are plenty of activities nearby for those wanting more adventure. Rafting, fishing, tubing, horseback riding, scenic drives, railroad trips, and hiking. While we were surrounded by nature, we were not completely isolated. We could see traffic passing by, but could rarely hear it. If this doesn’t appeal to you, there are plenty of cabins higher up the mountain that are further from the road. We paid for internet service and got it, but it was painfully slow. We would go again even with the slow internet service. Being a city girl, I wanted a cabin in the woods that was not completely isolated and that had a staff within calling distance. I was very happy with Cherokee Cabins and would definitely visit again.

Thanks for your kind review! Our job is for all of our guests to have the quality experience that you had. We keep our standards high, because we know our guests appreciate the finer things in life. We know there is the option to rent cabins through online owner rental companies. I will guarantee the experience will be nothing close to a well staffed company that cares about each and every guest that steps into our office like we do. We look forward to your return!

Bear Foot Lodge is the perfect place is you are looking for a respite away from everything! We truly enjoyed the serenity of the cabin and its surroundings. The cabin is beautifully decorated inside and out. Our favorite place, and where we spent the most time, was the outdoor living area. We ate all of our meals outside, enjoyed the hot tub, and the living area in front of the outdoor fireplace. We were completely able to relax and listen to the wildlife sounds surrounding us.

We were in the area for a wedding at Nantahala Weddings. This was one of the nicest vacation rentals I’ve stayed in. Communication prior to our arrival was also excellent. We stayed in Paws Up which is close to the top of the steep, hairpin drive - be prepared for that. The cabin and everything in it was top notch and the views were amazing. We loved the hot tub on the deck and used it every day. Great, comfy bed and lots of fluffy towels. Kitchen was well equipped though we didn’t really cook - brought items that were already prepared. I would highly recommend!

Room Tip: Be prepared for the steep, narrow, gravel drive with hairpin turns. If you’re not into that...

We stayed in Hawks Crest. Beautiful cabin, views, and amenities. Sitting on the porch looking out into the mountains and listening to the birds was so relaxing! The staff was terrific! Responsive to questions, thorough with answers, and very accommodating! The cabin included everything we needed such as a full kitchen, comfort, and beauty. We spent our days taking the Great Smoky Mountain Train, Jeep waterfall tour, kayaking, and hiking. It was the quiet, peaceful vacation we were looking for!
