It was indeed a fantastic place for kids. There are indoor play grounds, organised activities for kids, indoor trampoline area (minimum age 3 years), climbing area (minimum age 5 years), artificial ice-ring (minimum age 3 years), pony riding (10 min a day is included with the all inclusive stay, minimum age 3 years, closed on bank holidays), 3 swimming pool areas with different water depths and a water slide (not exhaustive list). If the weather is good, hiking possibilities are also fantastic. Food and drinks are virtually around all day and there is a large choice. We very much enjoyed the stay there. The only drawback for the parents is constantly dropping WiFi connection which only one device per room can be connected to at the time, as well as the poor TV signal. Otherwise fantastic stay for families with kids.

We have stayed in some other Familotels before and we mostly enjoyed them. Especially Petschnighof in Austria where we went 2 times. The quotations that are given by Familotel are not always related to e.g. the quality of food, but more to the fact that there is an inside swimming pool, etc. Anyway this Familotel had the maximum quotation from the Familotel organisation. We, as travellers around the globe, and staying in many different places, and luxury hotels already knew of course that this was not going to be a luxury holiday, but a family-children holiday. And despite the fact that I don't like mass hotels for families, where sometimes you could have the feeling it is a factory, this familotel is working hard in all aspects to make a difference and to go the extra mile. The quality of the food was not high end, but it was really good, as well the breakfeast as the lunch as the dinner. The rooms were spacious, I only did not really like the comfort of the beds and also the sofa in the living was not so comortable. The activities for children were numerous and really good. Our children liked to go to the Happy Club, even usually they do not like to do things alone, but here they did, so congratulations to this hotel! I also almost used the sauna every day. It was nice to have this possibility, even till 10 pm in the evening. We also had a great ski experience, which was not planned and we never did it, but the hotel is situated just next to some ski lifts and ski schools, so we all took lessons ( even our 7 and 3 year old children ) and we loved it. The staff in the hotel was in general very friendly. For me to give a recommendation of very good is already a big step, so this is a place where I might come back in the future.

We have been here for 8 nights with my 10 months old son, 2 room Apartment, first family Hotel ever, so no possibility for me to compare. I ll go through each point briefly. Check in was fast, everything has been professionally explained and soon we were already parking in the B Garage and bringing our baggages in the room. The room itself is spacious (see Picture on Website), kitchenette, fridge, changing table for baby, couch and so on, nothing missing. Bathroom rather small, not a fan of bathtub shower myself, still functional. Room decor in General outdated, I personally prefer more modern, might come with time. Hotel itself is all inclusive with buffet and alcool along with it, enough room to sit to be found at all time, enough Baby/toddlers chair around at all time, very positive. Food Quality is very good, my wife complained about missing fruits in the morning, I missed pastries in the morning most days (they had Croissant 2 days out of 8). We appreciated the Chance to eat at Fanny's Restaurant twice (kind of à la carte restaurant), where you could have cheese/meat Fondue or grill meat, nice atmosphere and a bit more cozy than the main Restaurant (Reservation in advance). During the day you can let your Baby/toddler to Play with the Babysitters for 2 or more hours a day, nice play/Entertainment area and welcome for the parents to have some hours of rest and private time. Best area is the Baby Lounge, very modern, beautifully made, almost no one there as it is a bit "hidden", we were there with our son a lot of time (I would love to see the rooms in the same style as the Baby Lounge, would be great). Check out could be done the day before to avoid waiting times and Queues, went very well and professionally done by the apprentice overlooked by the Manager. What got me a bit annoyed was the cleaning ladies using the normal lift (at times you were waiting ages for a lift), on the plus side they did a great Job with the cleaning of the room any day. As a perk you get to Access the fun park next to Hotel for free, awesome climbing park, jumping mattress and Skating area, my wife and I had a lovely time, big plus.

What’s not to love?! We travelled with 3 boys and honestly my expectations were low having been to similar hotels in the past. But I was happy to be proven entirely and completely wrong. The rooms are amazing...the beds are exceptional. We had the best week of sleep in 4 years! And when we weren’t sleeping there was just so much to do, for all age ranges! We struggled to fit everything in to a week. The schwarzwald card that is offered on longer stays is such an added bonus on top of the what are already extensive facilities onsite. Buffets normally get very repetitive after 4 days but not here. Great choice, great variety and if you do fancy a change of scene there is the restaurant for fondue (complete with slide!!) or the pizzeria next door. In short, for me it’s everything you could wish for in a family hotel. Full on, bonkers, fun, loud and something for everyone. We will be back!

Lovely stay! My family and I stayed in Feldberger Hof from 14 to 16 Dec 2018. We are from Singapore. I goggled and there were good reviews of the hotel. The staff were very helpful even though some tried their very best to talk to us in English whenever we need any help. Although we were the only Asian there, the people were very nice and friendly. We could even take bus 7300 to Titisee baf to shop and see cuckoos clocks and Titisee lake with the card provided for guests staying in Feldberger Hof. You can use the Hochschwarzwald-card to play the obstacle course. It is just beside the hotel. It was -8 degree and very cold. My child loves playing with the snow. There were lots of food provided for you and you had paid for the whole package. Overall, we have a pleasant stay. Thank you
