After reading the reviews here and in booking.com we had high expectations from the place. However, we were quite disappointed. We did not eat dinner at the hotel so I will comment on the accommodation and breakfast. The hotel is placed well close to Titisee and Feldberg .We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. The rooms were very basic. The...

Hi Eitan, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our little place. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed. We do remember you and your family very well. We would like to exchange some views as follows. Our Guesthouse/hotel is a business run by Thomas and Alex. The rooms are furnished the Black Forest...

Just back from two beautiful days in the Black Forest. The Bierhäusle is a great place to discover this area. Amazing good food for a very good price ! And the breakfast is worth the trip as well. You can go to Freiburg by train, no hassle driving a car. All included with the "Schwarzwald" Card. One family running the...

We stayed a family of 5 at this guest house on July this year. We planned to visit the area and were looking for a good location to start our daily trips. We looked for a special place to stay for our 5 days in Schwarzwald, and found the guest house in Trip-advisor. The guest house is well located (near...

Just returned from a week in the Black Forest , we chose Landhotel Bierhausle based on the great reviews and the fact that you get the Hochschwarzwald card if you stay longer than two nights . I travelled with my wife and two 6 year old boys and we stayed in the traditionally decorated three bedroomed holiday flat at the...

Alex and Tomas are lovely people, speak fluent English and very helpful. The location is great and our little daughters loved the garden with the trampoline and rabbits, goat and other domestic animals. Got two rooms at the second floor which were ok but weren't too easy for climbing with sleeping girls and luggage. The wi-fi worked only downstairs, which...

I stayed a couple of weeks here and loved it. I wish I could have stayed longer. It is somewhat remote but has everything you need. there is a ton to do in the area and your time spent will be something you'll remember for a long time. To top it off, the people are fantastic and I'm under selling...

This hotel is just so homely and set in beautiful surroundings. There are plenty of bike trails/walks and lakes to keep you occupied! And the hotel is a short walk to the nearest train station for visting nearby Titisee and Freiberg. Alex and Thomas the owners are so lovely and very helpful in giving information. I would totally recommend staying...

As for the food!!!! My mouth just waters, at the thought of it!!!! It is worth travelling some distance, just to eat there.

This is a beautiful hotel in such a picturesque setting. The family are very welcoming and restaurant food is excellent! If you would be interested in staying as a 'helper' the work is fair and you will have more than enough free time to explore the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend a stay either as a guest or a...

We were driving around Belgium and Germany and booking a couple of nights in advance and wanted to stop off in the Black Forest for but we did not expect to find such a lovely guesthouse on such short notice and would highly recommend to anyone considering.
