We keep going back to Can Torras for overnight stops on our way further south, and a two week holiday when we were both in desperate need of peace and relaxation and being looked after. The annexe is perfect for us, the views from the pergola where we had most meals was amazing, and the meals always enjoyable and healthy....

We stayed with Karen and David in their 2 bed apartment for a week in late September. We were blessed with lovely weather which allowed us to eat Karen's delicious and filling breakfasts outside under their pergola. We felt a little guilty eating and resting while their delightful volunteers were working in the garden! The accommodation is attractively furnished with...

My husband and I stayed at Can Torras mid-May. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were thrilled to discover the dogs living there- along with cats, chickens, and other critters! The breakfasts were very good and got us started on our day with plenty of energy. One night a storm came through, which knocked out the power. Our Host gave...

We stayed at Can Torras for four nights, and will be more than happy to return later. Karen is a great host and an excellent cook. The rooms were spacious and with comfortable beds. From the garden you have a nice view over the area, and you can even admire it from an outdoor jacuzzi. There are both hens, ducks,...

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our visit. Karen and David were lovely hosts and very helpful in making our trip around the area as interesting as possible. The service and cooking was excellent Unfortunately they had some problems with the plumbing during our stay. One should also know that there are dogs at the property.

So glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes, I am afraid an old farmhouse has an occasional hiccup with the plumbing but it was all sorted in a morning. As for the dogs, we understand that some children are not used to them and we do mention them on the Web and Facebook page. Most little people end up...

In 2012 we already stayed a night over in Can Torras and promissed ourselves and our three kids that we would go back. And we did in July 2014... It was lovely to see Karen again and it was wonderful to relax in the beautiful garden. The kids also enjoyed themselves in the garden, with the dogs and had a...

Stayed here for 6 days in September. So near to Girona airport (only a 20 minute drive) but on a hill overlooking the valley. You feel you are miles away. Karen was very welcoming and her cooking was amazing! All served under the pergola in the extensive gardens. Accommodation was excellent with a fridge, kettle, toaster and crockery so we...

We visited Can Torras in August 2014 as two couples and we shared the cottage suite between us. The cottage was a lovely little apartment attached to the main house. It was beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. The linen was fresh and the beds comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need and a few extras as well to...

“We were in the annexe which was separated from the main farmhouse by just one connecting door in the outer corridor. There was free wifi but you had to go into the garden to get a signal. There was also another bedroom with twin beds so a family of 4 could have easily been accommodated.”

“We booked late so were happy to have the remaining rooms, one a lovely double with wonderful view. Other than that, one of the two suites would probably be best.”

“The Cottage Suite has a double and 2 single beds and the bathroom is to a high standard. The room also has tea and coffe making facilities with loads of plates and cutlery should you wish to make your own Lunches/Teas. There is also a refridgerator provdided so you can kreep the food, and the beer, cold.”

“There are only two rooms - the one we were in (I'll call it the "upstairs" room) has an excellent view and great spaces for eating, but a very steep staircase, so anyone with mobility issues might want to request the other one (the "non-upstairs" room).”
