Location was good, and even though there wasn't parking (or room to park for us) staff told us where we could find street parking for free. The breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced at only €9. Staff was super friendly, and more or less fluent in English. Fairly quiet - but a little street noise - babies, dogs & church bells. The room was fairly small not much room for the luggage. The hotel is nice, but dated. WiFi was a little dodgy at first, but ended up working fine.
Lovely small hotel, great location, very friendly staff, breakfast had a good selection. And as our visit was at the early stages of restrictions, the hotel staff could not have been more welcoming. We will return when travelling is once more allowed.
It is very central situated and everything worth seeing is easy to reach by foot. The staff was friendly and helpful. The house was built in the 18th century which means it is small and narrow but very charming. We had a really nice room on the second floor which was clean and all in all perfect. It was very quiet and we had the feeling we were the only guests but the hotel was fully booked. The breakfast had everything you can possibly want. We had a great stay and if we'll go back to Quedlinburg one day we'll definitely stay at this hotel again.
Really pleased with this charming hotel right beneath the cathedral. The absolute highlight was the friedly, engaged staff. All the way from double-checking our arrival time to helping out with luggage and tips on parking, the were very courteous and anticipating our needs. Nice room with comfy bed, and good breakfast buffet. Small parking lot in the backyard. Highly recommended.
Very Nice straff and service. I really felt welcome. Free lugage storage. Nice included breatfast. Will stay here again next time! Clean toilets. Nice mini fridge. Nice turist information. And some small choclate treat. 😊
Hotel Domschatz in Quedlinburg was very cute and a good value for the money for where it was which was just below the castle hill. Breakfasts were excellent and the staff was helpful. The room was airy and clean with a nice view. The only drawback was that they gave us coupons for cake/pie which was kind of confusing because when we asked they said it was for tomorrow only. Just a bit confused by the whole coupon thing. If you are going to give your guests a piece of pie you should just say it will be available at a certain time. Simple. All in all it was an enjoyable place to stay.
I chose this hotel because of the location and friendly pricing. It is is an excellent value. The rooms are small, but quite ok for the purpose, if you are travelling through. The owner, Ms. Jana Schinkel, was extremely helpful with hints for my short visit. If you are with a car, there is a parking facility at the hotel and at a few paces from the property.
Great small hotel with friendly staff and good service. We got our very cosy room already at 11.30 am! It was facing the Castle and Church.we were also given vouchers with reduction at many shops besides a complementary cake. Very nice situation in this beautiful town.
My wife and I stayed at this hotel in mid September 2017. Like all houses in this city the hotel is quite old but full of charm. Our room was on the top floor which meant hauling some bags up a winding staircase. In summer, we assume, it can be quite muggy up there but in our case it was perfect. Bed and bathroom were top notch. Breakfast covered all tastes. In the afternoon the hotel offers for free home made tarts and tee/coffee. The only thing to critisize is the lack of parking. There are only 4 lots. They send you to an off premises parking lot which, however, does not look trustworthy in the evening.
We were absolutely delighted with this hotel. The welcome we received from Jana, the owner, set us off on the right path, the rooms were lovely, and our breakfast astonishing. As well as that, the location was absolutely perfect for sight seeing. All I all, our friends could not have chosen a nicer place. Heartily and unreservedly recommended.
