Perfect location, less than ten minutes to the train station and the same to the town center. Started my stay with a crispy pike dinner in the restaurant, complete with fluffy potatoes and a fresh green salad. My only concern was that the wifi reception was weak to nonexistent in my room (needs a router?), but I was more than...

reading other reviews, I suppose that this hotel has good and not so good rooms; perhaps I was lucky: very beautiful room facing to the square, clean, as it was perfectly clean the bathroom; a comfortable sofa, a desk, a good bed; I was warmly welcomed, and always found friendly people working there; the last day, I asked the checkout...

spent to nights in Quedlinburg and it was great! The rooms are big and clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Had dinner once in the hotel's restaurant and it was yummy. There is an ample parking area at the back of the hotel at a low price. The location is great, its just a...

We stayed two nights at Zur Goldenen Sonne in October 2013 as part of our three-week tour of Germany. We enjoyed the hotel very much even though construction was going on in the interior courtyard. Our room was large and fortunately was on the first floor, i.e. up one flight of stairs, since there is no elevator. However, this review...

We stopped in here for lunch. at here were four of us in our party and what we ate-- soup, salad and a sausage-- were all excellent. The dining room was bright and cheerful. And our waitress was friendly and on the ball.

An ideal location set in the cobbled centre of a town full of charm. The hotel has the best of both worlds - a historic building with modern comforts. whilst we didn't eat in the restaurant - purely because we wanted to explore the town, and for no other reason, we did enjoy the inner courtyard well tended "biergarten", with...

Having never stayed in the Harz region before we knew no hotels by reputation. This hotel was a real find as it is both beautiful in the old part and very convenient for the town, the buses and the railway station. The restaurant is excellent and decorated to a high standard, the breakfasts are good. The staff were very helpful....

This hotel is located in a historic building that has been completely renovated. A charming house with real character. Perfect location in the centre of the town. Easy to park in the hotel parking area. Restaurant and biergarten in house. Very good breakfast. Nice and friendly staff. What more can you ask for? Well our weather could have been better....

I had the opportunity to spend my birthday in Quedlinburg, Germany and since chantarelles (pfifferlinge in German) are my seasonal favorites, we chose this hotel's restaurant. There is inside seating, but we chose to sit in the outiside "biergarten" which is a pleasant inner courtyard of the hotel. It was full of guests and everyone seemed to be enjoying thir...

Stayed here while walking & exploring the half timbered medieval city of Quedlinburg. Walking distance to all in the city. Nice helpful staff, excellent restaurant with local specialities. Quiet, rather ordinary room, clean and all we needed at a good price.
