Detailed Reviews
We stayed one night. If you look at my other reviews you'll see that I usually stay at the big chain hotels, so a small independent motel was a different experience. The rooms were smaller than I'm used to, but clean and comfortable. Our rooms were in the front of the hotel so there was some noise from trucks driving through on the road, but no noise from inside the hotel. You enter the rooms from an interior hallway and the exterior doors are locked, so it seemed secure. The whole stay was contactless, which worked very well. In the early afternoon, she texted us our room numbers, the codes to the exterior doors and our rooms, and other info like the wifi password. When we arrived, everything worked fine getting into our rooms. The next morning I texted when we were leaving and she sent the invoice via email. There is a number to call if there's a problem, but everything worked fine. I'll definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

There are three motels in Senneterre and none have any means to book online. Easily done over the phone and emailed a confirmation straight away. Was advised at the time I planned to arrive, reception would be closed. On the day, credit card would be preauthorised and I'd be emailed door codes. All that was in place and arrived at Senneterre on the VIA Rail train after 7 hours of no phone reception with details I needed. A few minutes walk and got in fine. The place looks to have been refurbished and photos online are probably the old ones. Comfortable queen size bed, desk and bathroom all good. Only nag was lack of plug socket next to the bed. Overall a really good pick if ever you pass through Senneterre.

I had always wanted to take the scenic VIA train trip to Senneterre - the end of the line in Quebec. I took the train from Montreal on a Friday, spent Saturday in Senneterre exploring the town and returned to Montreal on Sunday. Friday and Saturday nights were spent at Motel la Bell' Villa, an easy three block walk from the VIA station. I found the room to be very clean and quiet even though it was in the front. The TV selection was impressive wrt the number of channels and reception. As others have indicated, there is an option to get coffee or hot chocolate in the lobby by inserting coins in the machine. I would recommend taking a microwave safe mug to heat water for tea or instant coffee in your room if you bring those with you. The microwave and fridge in the room (and a nearby IGA) made it very convenient to eat in the room avoiding restaurants during the COVID fourth wave..

I stayed here for two nights on a VIA Rail trip and was more than happy. Fortunately the reception desk remains open until late as the train did not arrive until almost midnight. VIA Rail is 5-10 minutes walk and the main shops are just a block away. Comfort and cleanliness were fine. Wi-Fi was also quite acceptable. My only complaint was very small bath towels. It would be nice if a light breakfast was offered rather than having to go to a café along the road.

I arrived at this motel after a short walk from the railway station as I had travelled on Via Rail Canada's excellent Montreal to Senneterre train that traverses an incredibly scenic route.
The lady at check in had poor English but it sufficed.
There was a modern flatscreen television in the room, an efficient and fairly quiet small aircon unit, a round table and a chair, a lounge chair, a goddess and three lamps providing illumination.
The bed was quite comfortable and had a stylish blanket and thankfully, a top sheet.
The bathroom was poky and had a very clean non slip bath with shower over, a shower curtain that was not as good as a glass shower screen and a toilet.
The vanity unit was that strange arrangement so loved by the French with it being near the entrance. Towels were quotes all but clean and bright white. Hot water was quick to arrive.
It was easy to hear the next door unit's television even when not at full bore.
The rooms are entered via an internal hallway, an unusual motel arrangement.
There is a bar and saloon attached to the motel that has a special doorway to reduce noise.
For C$98 including taxes this motel was quite good value and notably was patronised by atleast three Quebec Parks staff with vehicles on the night I stayed.

Very clean and friendly. The remainder of the lodging in Senneterre looks second rate. The maid service was beyond expectation. Would only stay here if returning to Senneterre. Everything you needed is an easy walk.

It was modern, clean and comfortable. There is a nice pub/lounge in the building. I wish there was coffee in the room or breakfast. All in all a very nice place with courteous service.

Room Tip: I think they are all about the same but the south side would be away from the street.

A group of 6 of us on a snowmobile trip stayed here for 1 night a couple weeks ago . The motel was clean and the rooms were decent. The beds were comfy and room was adequately equipped. Didn’t try out the attached bar as we had brought our own drinks for after a days riding. Of all the places we stayed at on our trip this was the only one that charged for coffee. They had a machine in the middle of the hallway and it was 1.50 for a coffee. Thought it should of been included .
Staff at front desk were nice and friendly

Cant really go wrong staying here. Nice, comfortable motel. Stayed here on two occasions for work. Rooms are clean but a bit dated. Bathrooms were recently remodeled and are quite nice. The rooms had a microwave and a mini-fridge. HOWEVER, for you people that need a coffee first thing your out of luck. no coffee in the rooms. They have a vending machine in the hallway (1.50$). Didnt have any change so I was out of luck. The second time I went, I brought instant coffee and made it in the room (using the mircrowave).

We weren't sure where to stay. It was a great choice. Rather rustic, felt like a fishing lodge -Clean, comfortable.
Close to downtown, near the lake. Great parking and friendly staff. The bar was nice.
No free coffee or tea. Had to pay for it in the hallway with cash.
