We booked a room for four persons, but instead received to separate rooms. The worst part was that neither room had a bathroom; our bathroom was located in the way between our rooms and others, and it was unclear if everyone was allowed to use it or just us. Nevertheless it was easily accessible for everyone, all guests could in... More

We stayed in a house 50 metres away down a side street room from the hotel. Clean and spacious room and a good bathroom. Beds were ok but not fantastic. Breakfast was quite simple but ok. Location and service was excellent but I had expected a bit more.

We only stayed one night here traveling from Amsterdam to Berlin, but it was the highlight of our trip. The altstadt is stunning; the best I have ever seen in Germany. The hotel is small and centrally located in a quiet cobbled street within a few minutes walk to to main square. After the tourist chaos of Paris and Amsterdam... More

This was an excellent, well run hotel and we stayed for 10 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also amazingly quiet. We were in their annex across the street and had a sitting room, bedroom and great shower. Everything was clean and tidy. It was ideal for exploring Goslar and only 10 minutes walk from the station.... More

We have just spent three nights at the Gosequel, which provides fairly central accommodation in this romantic medieval city. Given the age of this city and its buildings, which escaped the ravages of the world wars, you must expect 'quaint' to be tempered with 'tight' and 'romantic' with ''creak'! This quaint hotel is one of the many timber framed buildings... More

The hotel is situated towards the outskirts of Goslar's extensive, but magnificently preserved Old Town. It is in easy walking distance of the Market Square, Kaiserpflaz and Gose Brauhaus although the railway station is probably 25-30 minutes walk. The hotel itself still retains some of its historic character, with some half timbered detail and a steep wooden staircase - probably... More

Situated in the old town this very special hotel with its friendly easy-going staff serves great breakfasts and evening meals. Our room, situated up in the roof was large, comfortable and clean, with the bath requiring a good deal of imagination for getting out. We would certainly return to this hotel should, or really I should say WHEN, we return to... More

We made the booking in September 2010 so when we arrived we were suprised to find that our room was in a house 75 metres away down a side street. The parking for the car was alongside the house but locked up overnight and inaccessible to us unless we went for the key in the main hotel. The accommodation in... More

The room was modern and a nice size for a single, although it has none of the charm suggested by the exterior of the building which is a wonderful half-timber. Staff was very helpful, even though we never could get the wireless internet to work in the room. The breakfast was probably the least elaborate I've had in my last... More
