We stayed in their annexe in a modern, well-appointed and stylish suite overlooking the waterfront/lake. The view could not have been better, but having the bathroom separated by a glass front rather than a wall is pretty unappealing to me and would be less than ideal if sharing a room with somebody you are not really close with. Arriving late... More

Our night at the BW was quite interesting. A very weird arrangement to be shown to another building. The room was outdated for sure....like a mini suite. There is a mini kitchen with nothing to use not even a cup or saucepan to boil water. The dirty lounge was covered with a blanket. It is very noisy onto the street if... More

Really expensive for what it offers: No air conditioning, no net at the windows, no elevator and old noisy room. Moreover any customer requests are NOT satisfied. No to everything. The position is good but it is difficult to get by car.

The hotel location is great, right in the middle of the pedestrian part of Friedrichshafen. Breakfast was really good too. The room was not just dated, but falling apart. Clearly it was repurposed without any modifications into a very large but non-functional hotel room. Access to the room was dated (but not date enough to be charming) and the bathroom... More

Unfortunately at 35c outside and no aircon inside this was quite an unpleasant stay. The main building bedrooms have no aircon but their other building does, best to ask for a lake view. The breakfast was fine, the Internet ok but unfortunately the room was extremely uncomfortable due to the heat.

We stayed here as part of a cycling holiday and found it perfectly good for a one night stay. Being a Best Western hotel, this was always going to be a bit bland and corporate but our room was a reasonable size and very clean and the staff were helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly high quality. The hotel is very... More

Nice, pretty large renovated rooms, very good location, about 50 meters to the lake. Overall good breakfast buffet, loads of choices. The staff at the check-in was nice. We reserved 1 double room and one larger room with an extra-bed, which was missing. We received a complimentary single room to make that error up. Can recommend the hotel.

The main problem with this hotel, was that it doesn`t feel like 4 stars. You expect something special from it, that`s why you pay extra money. Although it is not very expensive, could be better. However, the location is great. 5mins to Zeppelin museum, 15mins to railstation, and just 30 seconds to beautiful promenade - all on foot. The restaurant... More

Did not strike me as a four-star luxury hotel at all. The room was fine, as was breakfast. However our room was off in an annexe - which is the kind of thing they usually tell you before you arrive. We were checked into a room which was already occupied, before being moved. The housekeeping seemed a bit haphazard. Not... More

Fresh and modern room in one of the added buildings to the hotel. Breakfast is served in the lovely hotel restaurant that also offer Michelin quality lunch and dinner. Make sure to get a table one evening in the restaurant. Theirs local fish plate is amazing and their soups are sent from soup heaven.
