Breakfast is included in the rom price, and it is very worth it! I didn't expect a good breakfast from this small family-run hotel, and was pleasantly surprised. I paid 75 Euro per night for a single room with a small shower cubicle, I do think it is a little over-priced, but it is the cheapest I can find in... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for your rating. We are glad you liked our breakfast! Thats right, the cheaper single rooms are a little bit smaller, but for that we also keep them at a relatively low price in the high-season. The hair-dryer was by the way in the upper drawer just under the sink. We´re sorry, you maybe... More

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Very nice host. Room: Room 35 was very nice - large (two single beds), clean, charming. Noise: quiet, I could not hear the traffic from the road outside. Location: 5 min from the old town, 100meters from the Rhein river. 5 min from the lake. Amenities: Nice bathroom, freshly renovated.... More

I went there with my mom, wife, and 2 children for 2 nights. We stayed in a room with 2 extra beds. Very limited space but it was ok. The internet is annoyingly slow and have to register for each device, therefore a password for each device. The bed was ok. The location is great, not far from the city.... More

a very mixed bag this place. advertised as an hotel and restaurant...it is in fact a basic B&B only.. and with the minimum of service at that....all at full service hotel prices. rooms and bathrooms fine...wifi complicated and patchy reception... owned by a pretty unpleasant couple,i assume they are the owners,as nobody in their right mind would otherwise let these... We came for a wedding and asked for a silent room, they promised us the most silent (only one) room of the house. The entrance is around the corner, parking space is more than limited, and if you get one keep it and go for site viewings by cab. (Unfortunately we didn't got that advise) Behind the entrance an ugly... More

it was nice to stay. The breakfasts are nice and no stress with free internet. There was free city bus ticket and easy to go to the main station. Another station is close, but less train than main station.

During my last stay I checked out and showed my hotel voucher from my business travel agent. Unfortunately the receptionist did not accept the voucher and I had to pay with credit card. This is a pity for the total experience at Bilger Eck. Once back from business trip I checked with my travel agent and they assured me the... More

The room we had is just like the one shown in the photo, but the rooms are not nearly as nice. Maybe the photos were taken long ago. The rooms are small. The AC is nothing more than a loud, REALLY LOUD, portable unit that pumps out more humidity than cold air. Bathroom is tiny with no place to put... More

Not bad, just not great. I think the owners are trying hard, cleanliness is good, though the rooms feel a bit dated, and they provide a decent selection at breakfast. The WiFi, while free, is terrible. I think it's a service called MaxSpot and you must create an account and log in every time you use it (and several times... More
