First we were surprised about the check-in maschine, but it worked out very well. Sauna was not included in the price and it‘s only running from 6.30pm to 9pm or something. That was not ok, sine it wasn‘t mentioned in the booking info/ad. Bc it‘s right about the time when guests go out for dinner. Anyways, we stayed for one night only and everything else worked out fine! Room was great! Bed was uncomfortable!

I never write reviews whilst I’m still in the place however as I’m sitting in the staircase (no internet in my room) I feel compelled to warn other travellers. This is advertised as an ‘adults only’ property and what should I have in the apartment next to mine? Children! I love kids, however booked this to have rest from them. Why advertise as adults only and clearly be misleading guests? And the wifi, well as I said I’m in the staircase so I can log on. Absolutely disgusted with this misleading place and how hard is it to get reliable wifi these days?!!!! I despise properties that mislead their guests especially when my hard earned money is wasted. Unfortunately I urge all potential guests to check reviews and be prepared for terrible wifi and children in this adults only apartment complex.

We stayed five nights and found the the complex to very nice. The deluxe apartment had everything we needed including full fridge, stove, coffee maker and basic kitchen amenities for meal preparation. This is not a hotel so expect to do some of your own cleaning, but they do have garbage removal and additional cleaning products for no additional cost. Extra towels, unit cleaning and any other amenities will cost extra. The on site laundry facility was a nice extra and very cost effective. Would recommend staying at the front of the building as the apartments behind the complex can get noisy with university students. Our only complaint was the low quality bed linen and pillows. Also, we needed to use our reservation number to get our room key because the booking name did not work. It is in a residential area and a short walk to the tourist area, supermarket, train station and harbour.

If you are somebody who needs no internet and no sleep and definitely no staff, then this place is perfect for you: automated check-in and key cards, clean and new apartments with a very functional small kitchen area are great. Everything is very new. Parking in the garage is 10 EUR per day, just beware the entrance is very narrow so nothing for big SUVs like ours (Audi Q5). Back to the overall experience (and remember, I work for a hotel chain). - worst internet ever. The routers were poorly placed resulting in the apartment not getting any coverage. We had to open the door of the apartment and even then it was terribly slow (see the screenshot for proof). - most uncomfortable bed ever. In Germany, you can sue a hotel for such an experience and claim up to 25% of the price back. I am still contemplating doing this. First of all, the bed size is 140 cm in width (4.6 feet). It is an insult to sell a room with a bed like this for "double occupancy". If we did this in our hotels, we would be flooded with complaints like mine now. However, not only is the bed terribly small, it's also one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. It's extremely soft and you tend to roll to the center of the small bed. We had neck pain every morning and complaining just revealed that all beds were like this. - Staff / Service. I understand the concept of no frills and automated checkin, I'm completely fine with this. In fact, the automated checkin was probably the best experience of the stay. However, you can't operate a building you "market" as an alternative to hotels with a reception that's open 4 hours a day. No emergency phone numbers, nobody to speak to in case of an issue. Unbelievable. We asked for toilet paper and the trash to be emptied (you have to hand a sign like a DND on your door). Nothing ever happened. We had to ask for it at reception. The guys at the reception seem completely clueless as to how to operate a building like this. Not a single sense of hospitality in their mind. Nice guys, but not for a hotel, you should put them in charge of a car park maybe. I've traveled the World from hostels to Four Seasons and I'm generally very easy-going, also because I work in the industry and understand that sometimes things can go wrong. However, in this particular case, I feel like the World deserves to be warned and hence my review.
