I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars, because that’s what it deserves. Upon checking in, they immediately bring you a cool, clean hand towel and a cup of delicious ginger soy milk (the Manager’s secret recipe). Soooo refreshing after a super long flight in. We happened to came to the hotel during the perfect time, because it was beautifully decorated for the upcoming Lunar New Year.

There are so many good things to say about this hotel, I don’t know where to start. The location is great (conveniently located across the street from the beautiful My Khe Beach); the interior is super clean; the rooms are big; every day they have a free breakfast buffet on the 2nd floor and free afternoon tea on the 12th floor; and upon check-in you get a coupon for a free Pho dinner for one night.

But the best part about this hotel is their incredible customer service -- probably the best I’ve had from any hotel. For example, the night I checked into my room, there were some issues with the shower. I called the front desk, described the situation, and asked if I could change rooms. I expected them to say no, but without hesitation, they apologized and said they’d find me another room. Within about 5 minutes, they brought me to my new room – a free upgrade to a king suite with a sea view on the 5th floor! The room was beautiful! It was their way of apologizing for the inconvenience. Then, when my friend checked into her own room the next day, they gave her a king suite with a sea view too! Completely unexpected.

All the ladies, especially Dori and Clara, were so friendly. Every morning, they would greet us at breakfast and ask us how we are doing and if there was anything we needed.

After spending the first 4 nights of our vacation in Da Nang, my friend and I travelled to Laos for the next six nights. From Laos, I had to return back to Da Nang to catch my flight home. So I had booked another night at the Monarque. It was nice to see everyone again. Since I was only staying one night, I was expecting to get the standard room that I had booked, but instead, they gave me another king suite! What? No way! They really didn’t have to do that, but they said it was their way of showing their appreciation for staying with them again. The staff are awesome, and I’m going to miss them. I felt like they were my friends by the end of my stay. If I’m ever in Da Nang again, I will definitely be coming back to this hotel.

This is a great hotel with traditional opulent decor and is situated in a great location. The staff are so welcoming, attentive and really cannot do enough for you. When we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome tea and were presented with a voucher for us both to enjoy a free bowl of Pho. We enjoyed this the same evening in the bar which had some fantastic live music on at the time.

The gym needs a revamp as there aren’t any matching dumbbell weights and the machines are outdated and aren’t working correctly. One of the machines actually left deep scratches on my partners arm and when we let the hotel staff know, they were mortified and deeply apologetic and did everything they could to rectify it and make us happy.

Our original room was a Standard Deluxe Double Room. The room itself was spacious, clean and had traditional, high quality furniture and electronics. The only downside was that the view from the window is directly looking onto another building which is only a few meters away. If you keep the curtains closed, the room still feels fab. We were moved to a VIP beach view room as an apology for the gym equipment incident and this was immaculate, spacious and very luxurious. The room had plenty of seating, storage, a nespresso coffee machine and a large corner bath… plus a beautiful view of the sea.

The hotel also offers a driver service which was essential for us to visit My Son and Hoi An in the same day. We were taken aback at how reasonably priced this 8-9 hour driver service was. The rooftop pool area is beautiful however the weather was a bit too cold for us to enjoy it fully. The hotel also offers free bicycle rental which we fully made use of and it made our trip in Da Nang a memorable one as we used them to cycle to Son Tra and to Marble Mountain. Breakfast facilities are good with pastries, toast, omelettes etc being offered but also alongside some odd choices like Spaghetti Carbonara.

The corridor carpets were cleaned with a really powerful and strange smelling carpet cleaner. Just an FYI to the hotel to look into that as it was really off putting when you came out of the lift/ out of your room.

We would stay here again as it’s fantastic value for money and the staff make it special but they just need to sort out the gym first to make it functional.

We were so pleased with our booking! This is truly a five star service hotel at a very reasonable price. The staff were all so friendly, kind and accommodating. The rooms are well kept, the rooftop pool is a great place to cool off, and the breakfast buffet has a delicious selection of fresh fruits and a variety of foods. They also have a happy hour with treats and drinks for guests in the afternoon. Aliyah was a delight to interact with, always a smile on her face and showed such kindness for all the guests! She also gave us great tips for Hoi An and seems to know the city very well. The hotel is just across the street from the beautiful beach, and is a very quick grab ride or about a 20 minute walk to see the Dragon Bridge and the Son Tra Night market. Stay here, you won't regret it!

In my many years of traveling around the world this hotel has been THE best hotel I've ever been to in terms of value and service.
The staff here are very welcoming and provides excellent hospitality. They are constantly showing a good attitude towards their guest and very attentive to our needs. For example, the slippers provided in the bedroom were a little bit too small for my feet so they actually went out and bought bigger slippers for me to wear during my stay there.
During afternoon tea and dessert time that's include with the hotel, the staff would come to my table to have conversations with me and make sure all my needs are taken care of on a daily basis. I've gotten to know a few of them during my stay and all of them are very nice. Some even spoke several languages including Chinese and English. Morning breakfast provides a great variety of food and the Vietnamese coffee here is really good. They even knew to bring me 2 cups of coffee because I kept asking for another.😆
The bedroom were very clean and well kept with good decor.
They also provide free bicycle rentals which I encourage you to use. I road my bike along the beach and to Marble Mountain and had a great time.
There's one thing I would like the hotel to improve on is the fitness room. The equipments could use an upgrade and have more dumbbell weights. I ate so much here and would be nice if I was able to exercise some of it off 😁.
I would like to acknowledge Aliyah, Clara, Dory, and Selena. They were very exceptional hostess that derserve recognition. Also, Belle and Jollie, at the front desk, were very welcoming with a smile and says hello everytime we came back to the hotel.
I will definitely come back here again when I come to Danang.

I had such a lovely stay here from start to finish! When checking in I was given a delicious dish of coconut and mango fruits and a hot cup of tea and oh my gosh it was all delicious!
I met Clara and she ensured to check up on me through my stay - she was so so lovely and attended to any needs, questions or requests I had to make my stay enjoyable. Thank you Clara !!
I stayed in room 604 and although I didn’t have a sea view I could see the sea from the side ! Unfortunately the window faced the hotel building next door. Not ideal but I didn’t spend too much time in the room so it wasn’t so bad.
The hotel serves a wonderful afternoon tea everyday which is included in the room Rate and it was by far one of the most wonderful afternoon teas I have seen at any hotel before - especially given it is free. They had such a large selection of cakes, sandwiches, sweet treats, teas, coffee, just literally anything! And on the first day I sat
Down they even went and specifically made me a selection of 6 vegetarian sandwiches and burgers and they were delicious !!! I didn’t even expect this, but it was such a nice thoughtful gesture.
The breakfast buffet is outstanding and you can even order two dishes of your choice from a selection the night before which they will bring out for you when you attend breakfast.
The service is amazing. But I did have to ask for tea / coffee as no one came around to ask for this.
The hotel is located across the road from the beach, and an easy taxi ride away from the night market.
The top floor bar has live music for you to watch and also included free was one pho for the stay.
The pool is lovely and the setting is so pretty, it’s a shame the neighbouring hotels are so close as their buildings tower above and are too close together.
But the pool deck is still nice and a lovely place to relax.
I would most definitely stay here again!

The hotel is in a good location as it was just across from the beach which had clear water and white sand. We really enjoyed our stay as the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We found the complimentary buffet breakfast of a good standard with Asian and Western options along with a live station. We loved the complimentary High Tea as well with a nice selection of food. There is a kids room which has a good sized ball pit with a slide inside. There are a few other toys inside but the ball pit is the main attraction. It kept our daughter entertained for a while but feels a bit limited in what you can do. The hotel pool is nice for a dip and has a nice view of the ocean with several deck chairs to rest on as well. Overall we had a lovely time here and recommend it to anyone.

I have stayed at Monarque a few times this year and always enjoyed my time there. The team is friendly. The service is responsive. The breakfast buffet is far better than comparable hotels in the area. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. I don't watch much TV, but I did notice that it had the channels I like from the US. Swimming pool temperature was good. Location is great, just across from the beach and near a variety of restaurants. There is also convenient (and super cheap) public bus service to both the downtown area and to the airport from a stop only a minute walk away. Frankly, a lot of hotels feel depressing during the Covid period because there aren't many guests. Monarque doesn't feel like the others. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The owners live in the hotel and try hard to satisfy guest requests. If you are outside of Vietnam, give Monarque a chance once the borders reopen. If you are inside of Vietnam, now is a great time to travel so hop on a plane to Danang and you'll be in your room at Monarque in less than 15-minutes after arriving at the airport. Give it a try!

The reviews for this establishment were absolutely true! This must be the best hotel in all of Da Nang if not central Vietnam!!!.It was so luxurious and service was epic!

The hotel is situated in the middle of the strip of hotels across the public My Khe beach. We went across for evening walks along the beach but one would need to cross 2 very busy highways before accessing it so that discouraged us from swimming there as we did not fancy having to run across the highways in our swim suits to the hotel. .That did not deter many locals swimming in certain sections cordoned by the lifeguards on duty. It was crowded particularly in the evenings .Along the highways on both sides of the road were seafood restaurants and although priced mainly for tourists, we felt the prices were fair and the seafood was fresh. Although located away from the main center of Da Nang, it was still relatively easy to get to the other side of town across the Dragon Bridge being a grab taxi ride away.

The room we had faced the sea - upon arrival, there was a bottle of sparkling Rose and a platter of fruits greeting us as we entered the room. The aircon was powerful , the showers had strong pressure and the bathroom amenities was of good quality. But do beware of the ceramic bottles the amenities were contained in as they were fragile and one of them was accidentally knocked to the ground and broke into pieces. Upon check out , I did not mind paying for the damage but there was a discrepancy between the amount written on the invoice left in my room and the one they presented to me upon checkout . The manager very kindly waived the charges in the end, a gesture which was greatly appreciated.

The breakfast spread was excellent having a very balanced variety of Western fare as well as Vietnamese cuisine . The menus changed everyday for the 3 days we were there. They served tea from 2-5 pm at the swimming pool bar with sandwiches, some western cakes. and a few local delicacies .

The service of the staff here go beyond normal hotel service! They take the pains to go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. We always felt welcomed wherever we were at the hotel with the staff not merely greeting us but approaching us to ask how our day was , and how we liked our rooms or our food. We felt they were genuinely wanting to know whether we were really satisfied with our stay and always keen for us to give them our honest feedback

Special mention goes to Chao, a young trainee who came every morning to my table at breakfast to greet and chat with me. There was a problem with the wifi in my room and without fail she would get the technician daily to go to my room to try to get it fixed. When that failed, she was so apologetic and even bought a parting gift to try to make amends for the bad wifi connection which wasn't her fault at all!

Although it is priced at the higher end for Central Vietnam, it was well worth it .Without a doubt, if I am ever in Da Nang again , I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

My wife and I spent a week at the Monarque, choosing it after reading all the good reviews on TA. And wow, we definitely made the right choice. We have travelled extensively around Europe and Asia and both agree that this would have to be the best hotel we have stayed at.

We were warmly greeted the moment we arrived, with a bellboy on hand to carry our cases upstairs to reception, a friendly, efficient check in, and welcome drinks before being shown to our room. The next morning Clara the day manager greeted us by name as we entered the breakfast dining area (5 stars for her customer service) and she, with the support of Alice and Gaga, the other Managers, made our stay a most enjoyable & memorable experience.

The hotel itself oozes class, and we really couldn't fault it. Our deluxe twin room on the 11th floor was huge and beautifully furnished. It even had a free-standing bath and double vanity in the bathroom as well as separate shower cubicle and enclosed toilet.

The room didn't have a balcony or view but was comfortable and air conditioned. WiFi was also very reliable.

We really looked forward to the buffet breakfast each morning. It had such a fantastic variety of food, even for us westerners, including egg station, a dozen or so baine Marie's with heaps to choose from including our faves, sausages, bacon and fried rice, sushi, fruits, salads, bread, cakes, fruit juice, coffee, and the list goes on. My wife also enjoyed her regular pho.

The dining room was beautifully furnished, well laid out, and plenty big enough for all guests. A big thanks to Anna and staff there too for their attentiveness to guests and prompt clearing of plates etc. They even had our coffee ready the moment we walked in.

The rooftop pool was a great spot to cool off. Some people have commented it is small, but we found it plenty big enough, and never had a problem getting lounge chairs - 6 in total.

The adjoining bar area also looked nice although we didn't use it.

My wife had a spa and gave it a big thumbs up.

Location wise - great, being just across the road from the beach and promenade, many restaurants to choose from nearby (Family Indian Restaurant is great), and a  couple of small convenience stores just round the corner. The hotel also provides free pushbikes.

Not sure what else we can say, but would certainly recommend the Monarque Hotel. We hope to return again next year.

Special thanks once again to Clara, Alice, Gaga and Anna. Your dedication, friendliness and  professionalism is first class. Thanks to all your other staff, including the bellboys who were always on hand to greet us, and eager to help with umbrellas, push bikes etc.

Looking forward to returning next year.

Hotel located just across the beach, with seafood restaurants nearby, it's not in city center but a taxi or grab ride costs around VND 50000 to 70000 is reasonable. Rooms are quiet, everything in room workings fine, beds are comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon tea provided are scrumptious. Relationship manager - Clara and Aaliyah are super friendly, giving assistance on what to do and where to go depending on daily weather. Superb service provided from all the staffs. Highly recommended to everyone.
