I cannot recommend Ventana Windsports enough...from the spectacular views, to the lovely accommodations, to the service oriented staff, to the sumptuous food, to the fabulous beachside bar and restaurant, to the convenient and wide ranging sports rental, this resort truly has it all. The moment you step foot onto the property you immediately feel at peace and filled with gratitude for the splendor of Mother Nature as every corner of the resort allows you to see the beautiful water, white sandy beaches and sensational sunsets. I have come to the resort both with family and with friends and each time I'm reminded of the gift it is to call this lovely wonder home for the times we are fortunate enough to vacation there...

Just book this resort. My partner and I stayed here for a couple weeks in Dec’21-Jan’22 and it was everything we could have asked for. The location is perfect for beginner and experienced kiters. The resort’s restaurant is delicious and with breakfast and lunch included in our stay, we were able to focus on the kiting and exploring. This was especially good as we did not have a vehicle while staying in the area. If you do get tired of the hotel’s restaurant, there are other great options right across the street and just down the road. The resort manager, Lucia, took care of everything we needed and went above and beyond to help us arrange our complicated COVID testing for our flights home. I don’t think we could have made it home without her generous support. I’m forever grateful! Back to the wind sports - Aaron and Diego are fantastic kite and wing instructors. Aaron took me from zero to water starts and nice rides in only 5 days - so patient and so lovely to learn from! It was also fantastic to dip in the hot tub or pool after a day of kiting. If kiting is not your thing or you have a rare windless day, rent some mountain bikes! The bikes are in great shape here and you’ll enjoy the trails. The cactus trail is great for beginners and interesting enough for experienced bikers. As soon as we arrived my partner said we should plan to come back, and he was right - I can’t wait to come back some day soon. Thanks again to everyone at the resort! You guys rock!…

It was our first time out of the country since covid and we were really excited for this vacation. While we usually try to go pretty cheap on our accommodations, we splurged for Ventana Windsports. It was well worth it!!!! The rooms are clean, comfortable and quaint; restaurant and bar have incredible views and outstanding service; everyone at the hotel was very warm and friendly - owner, guests, and staff. There's a wonderful vibe you get at Ventana Windsports - maybe it's because it's an adult playground and everyone is feeling like a happy kid again. So much to do here. We loved SUPing in the calm mornings, mountain biking in the cactus, and exploring the town on the cruiser bikes. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed our visit to La Ventana Beach and especially the Ventana Windsports resort. Our group was visiting for the second year in a row and we were not disappointed. Not all in our group was looking for wind and she found many activities and restful places o keep her busy, including "the best massage i have ever had". The food at Coyas restaurant was fresh and very good. The new addition of the beach bar allowed us to enjoy the view as well as terrific Margaritas and lunch. We are looking forward to our return trip next year.

Ventana Windsports is an absolutely great resort with an amazing staff, great amenities, excellent food, and a world class location for kite surfing and wing foiling. I highly recommend it for both families and wind sport enthusiasts. We had a great time and will definitely be going back again.

This is an outstanding resort. The staff is amazing, friendly and super helpful. The rooms are mostly bungalows. Although they have a couple smaller suites. They're in a premier location for kiting, right on the beach with a restaurant, beach bar, pool and hot tub. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. They have paddleboards guests can take out for free and equipment rentals and lessons. The one minus I would say, is the food at the restaurant is just ok. You're better off going across the street to the tacqueria or other options in town.

This was my fifth visit to Ventana Windsports and the place keeps getting better. The new pool and hot tub are gorgeous, a wonderful spot to chill out after activities. The taco bowl and sashimi additions to the menu are delicious. Carlos, the new bartender, has a great sense of humor and mixes a mean margarita.

10 steps to the actual beach, 20 steps to the lessons and kite shop. 30 steps to the pool/spa, resturant and front office. This is over to top for a Mexico Bed & Breakfast. Boutique, convenient, tasteful ambiance, good quality food with terrific service. The Staff was attentive and very helpful. They hit it outta the park!! I already booked my next vacation with them. I just stayed there 12/18/21 thru 01/06/22

This place is paradise. Usually we like to move around a lot and only spend a night or two in a place before moving on, but we got "stuck" here in the best way -- we didn't want to leave, and ended up spending twice as long as originally booked. The food, the activities, the location, the very comfortable and clean rooms, and most importantly, the kindness, patience, knowledge, and helpfulness of the staff is remarkable. We'll be back as soon as possible!

We had this most incredible experience at Ventana Wind Sports. If you're not interested in all the details, the TLDR is you will have an amazing stay, seconds from the beach with all the amenities you could possibly need for your vacation. Okay, now about our experience... It was the last week of our honeymoon and we had booked a hotel online that turned out to be under construction. We were walking around the beach looking for an alternative and say Ventana's pool from the beach. Luca, the hotel manager is an angel who found a room for us to stay it. The moment we checked in, we became completely relaxed and felt like we we're floating through the end of our travels. Firstly, VWS is beautiful, and has everything you could possibly want to have a dream escape. The rooms are clean, airy and have plenty of space. The hot water works great and you can take a nice long shower, which is actually a little hard to find in LA Ventana. The staff is all super friendly and will help you anytime day or night. There's a security guard at night and everything is very safe. They have a massage room and incredible therapists (shoutout to Cinthia and Veronica). The pool and hot tub have been recently been remodeled and look like something out of a luxury LA mansion. You can relax in the warm hot tub while watching kiters play all day. Speaking of kiting, if you are visiting La Ventana for the wind sports, this is seriously the spot. It is perfectly set up for people who want to kite, windsurf, foil and wing. They have a garage where you can store your gear and lessons available from several trained instructors. LWS is towards the end of the bay and it's right in front of a part of a beach that has less rocks so it is a great place if you're learning or experienced. On non windy days, you can also rent mountain bikes, and have free SUPs to borrow. Above the ocean front kite garage is a lovely restaurant, Coya's. We ate their each day since our breakfast and lunch were included. I was a little nervous about eating there since free food is usually not the best food, but were were pleasantly surprised when the the food was delicious! We'd start every morning with a fresh pressed green juice and coffee. They have both Mexican and US dishes and some of the things we tried were the chilaquiles, burritos, enchiladas and shrimp caesar. The breakfast chilaquiles were amazing, better than most restaurants in town and has a lot of cheese. The seafood dishes were all fresh and really good. Our friends had the ceviche and French toast and reported they were really good too. The staff and are so kind and helpful and they will even pack your lunch if you want to take it to go. Also their cocktails like the mojito and Pina colada are really yummy. My favorite thing that I ordered three times was the flan! It was creamy and thick and some of the best flan I've had. If you need a quick and nourishing meal for your day of kiting, this is a great spot. I honestly can't say enough things about how awesome this hotel is. As I write this I'm actually a little sad that we aren't still there and we can't wait to come back soon!…
