Spent three nights here in July! The hotel is situated in a lovely location with views overlooking Lake Thun! This hotel claims to be four star, but in my opinion it would be lucky to get two stars! This hotel needs a complete upgrade as the facilities are very poor! The breakfast is very basic and never having enough hot water...

We have just had a week at Hotel Aeschipark Switzerland. This was our first trip to this beautiful country and the experience was made even better by the warm hospitality of the staff at this hotel. Apartment room was spacious and very comfortable.Meals served were of good quality and plentiful. Although the hotel is reasonably old and perhaps in need...

Bedroom with a great view but the room was very tired. Carpet stained, nothing in fridge, had to boil water in a pan and provide our own coffee, tea and milk. Bathroom not very clean, mould in shower. The towels were threadbare and small though changed daily. Little other cleaning. Bed linen not changed in the week. Downies dirty and...

Our room was large and had wonderful views. However it also had a mouldy shower; threadbare towels; a stained carpet and a broken cupboard door. It did not have tea/coffee making facilities. Other guests we spoke to had similar issues. The breakfast was fine: They offered the usual eggs, meat, rolls, cereal and fruit salad (tinned). Dinner was very basic...

I think we were the poor relations when it comes to food at this hotel. Our breakfast was a typical '80's' continental style breakfast. Nothing cooked unless you count boiled eggs. One choice of cereal, one sort of bread roll and a loaf to cut. Sometimes there was tinned fruit cocktail, sometimes it had a little fresh fruit added to...

We used to stay in Krattigen just down the road, but have now discovered this lovely hotel. The rooms are large and full of character. The view is beautiful and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The village of Aeschi is also quite charming, and very close to the larger towns of Interlaken, Spiez and Thun (you need...

I stayed at Aeschipark hotel with a Group during the first week of October 2012. It was my fifth visit to this Hotel in the last eight years. The location is beautifully quiet with easy access to all parts of the Bernese Oberland by car or by using local Postbus and Rail connections. The Hotel is well run by Ursula...

Sayed for one week with 4 people, including 2 kids. Very spacious and clean apartment, with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 toilets, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower, and a small balcony. Wonderful view of the mountains at the front side, and lake view at the backside. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice quiet little village to stay,...
