The hotel was a beautiful location close to brewers pond> great ski storage. The room had private hot tub and great kitchen with full oven, fridge and freezer. Bed was big enough for 4 and a full size bath.

We stayed 3 nights at the Firelight. The "map" they sent in the emailed info packet was actually a .pdf file which wasn't much help in the car. Google maps sent us a kilometer up the hill behind the lodge, so it took about 30 minutes to find it right out in the open below the Google pinpoint. The "hotel"...

No hot water, every two or three rooms are using one hit water tank, so you need to check with the rooms next door if it's ok to take a shower; and good luck to get a hold of any one at the front desk when you have a problem. Stay away from this place there are tons of other...

As a solo traveller, booking a studio was adequate. The room had a refrigerator and coffee maker so I could make breakfast and dinner in the room. The walls are thin and felt like I could hear every word of the conversations of my neighbors. My only complaint of my room is that there was no closet, no hangers, no...

This is our second time we have stayed. This time we were in a bachelor room on the ground floor. The room is great, modern facilities, very well equipped, great amenities close to everything and staff are friendly and helpful, on that alone it would rate a 5. The issue we have is with the sound proofing above, you can hear...

Great location. A 5 minute walk to the village. Underground heated parking was very nice. Connected to the bowling alley which the kids loved. Over looking the pond/ skating rink which is right next to tube town and skidoo rentals for little kids. Outside hot tub was nice as well. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Attractive appearance, good parking. Hot tub not working so I asked to be moved to a room with a working tub and was informed that once the cleaning staff got one cleaned the next day they would contact me. They didn't contact me I had to contact them. Then they claim there are no available rooms. I'm no dummy, the...

The room was very nice, with all the amenities that you could wish for. The hot tub seemed well-maintained and the hotel staff were very friendly. We felt that the hotel was a good value for the price we paid, perhaps because they are still trying to build their summer business. There was one major issue, however. On our second...

Location: although not in the center of the village it is only a short walk away and as a result the ambient noise outside is low. It is very close to tube town, ice skating, beginner's ski runs, Nordic & snow shoe trails and bowling. Accommodation (1 bedroom): nice clean rooms with plenty of space for a family of four....

This was the first ski vacation for our family of four, and the FirelIght Lodge was great. It is a short walk across the parking lot to the village, but you can ski directly to the Silver Queen chair. We had a two bedroom unit, with a full kitchen and a fold-out couch and fireplace. The beds were comfortable and...

Dear Jen, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are very proud of Firelight Lodge as we agree it is a great place for a family to stay with so many activities nearby. The great thing about SilverStar is the all inclusive "My1Pass" day or multi-day ticket as it includes down hill skiing, Nordic trails, snowshoeing,...
