We arrived very late our first night due to a flight delay and they were very accommodating to us - and we very much appreciated it. It's a little tricky to get to the hotel which is about an hour from the airport but we made it with the help of the Maps App on my iPhone. (If you go...

At Al Poggetto everything detail has been considered. The rooms are traditional and ours looked our on the olives. The facilities are lovely with a cool pool for an afternoon dip when it is too hot to be out and about. The restaurant was a gem - you must have supper (at 8pm sharp), and make sure you are hungry!...

We especially liked: - room with all necessary comfort (airco), - the quite surroundings, views, - swimming pool, - the horses, dogs, cats and other animals, - the attention of Franco and the Italian cook and owners, - home made and regional products. Improvements could be: - quality of some breakfast products, - price/quality of the dinners, - updating of...

We have been there for few days, and this was very relaxing days. The landscape is beautiful and the atmosphere is excellent. The family "Al Poggetto" were very receptive. The typical Sicily culinary was awesome.

We have stayed at Al Poggetto several times, and we will continue to return. The friendliness, the hospitality, the gentle talk they have with their guests is all coming from their hearts. They show a genuine interest for their clients’ wellbeing. They stop and listen to what you want to say, e.g. about where you have been during the day...

It is covered in greenery and grapvines.Inside and out it has gracious features. The cool mountain air is a welcome respite from the hot sicily summer days. The...

We were lucky enough to recently stay at Al Poggetto in the beautiful Sicilian countryside. The house is in a lovely, peaceful and lush valley about an hour from Palermo, and 30 minutes from Corleone. It wasn't particularly easy to find (perhaps contact the owners for directions) but was well-worth the effort! The owners were welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating....

We stayed at the Al Poggetto, while looking into ancestry at Belmonte Messagna, which is the next town closer to Palermo. Our stay was wonderful, the food incredible and fresh, and the company of the owners a real pleasure. They hooked us up with friendly people in my grandparent's home town of Belmonte, and we had an interesting and pleasurable...
