I lived in a six bed dorm here for two months. The room was basic with limited plug sockets and limited cleanliness. The common has a TV and sofas which is sweet for socialising and drinking goon. A balcony leads out of the common room which is also a great place to socialize. The kitchen is very limited as is... More

The hostel certainly wasn't the cleanest but it was livable. For $20 per night you get what you pay for. The pub itself is very nice, big screens everywhere for live sport and tastey, well priced pub food. Not my favourite place of all time but would stay again if travelling on the same budget.

Staff is nice and friendly. Hostel is not really clean, kitchen is way to small and doesn't have a lot. The rooms are smelly and building is really old. Good free cheese and whine though. I didnt like the atmosphere especially as a solo traveller. Cheap Hostel though.

Relaxing afternoon at the Windsor Alehouse sampling the on tap delights, good variety of craft beers, 14 on tap, plenty in the fridge. Food was good without being exceptional, good fun on a Melbourne autumn day.

Checked into this hotel around 8pm - to be greeted by a very rude member of bar staff as reception had closed. Was meant to stay 5 nights but checked out first thing in the morning straight away. The toilets were infested with bugs - the sharp bed springs were poking out of the mattress - the rooms look like... More

We stayed 4 nights at Pint on Punt. Good location with trams and trains. 15 minutes walk to St Kilda Beach. The room was quite big and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there were works in the street so it was quite noisy in the early morning. They have special backpackers menus that are cheap.

We had a great time here. Staff were lovely, free breakfast and tea and coffee throughout the day were a plus. We booked for a week initially and extended for 2 more. It's very cheap which suited us perfectly after travelling Asia for 2 months. Will definitely be coming back when we come back to Melbourne. They were renovating the... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights with friends. Found the hostel really good and the staff were great. The manager was really helpful and gave us loads of tips for things to do nearby. The food was good too and of course the beer🍻👏🏼 would definitely recommend it and the rooms were very clean. thanks
