The finca is a 6 km of public road and you have access via a paved dirt. It consists of a number of historical cozy homes. The welcome is warm by Alfonso who also speaks perfect English. He is an ambassador for the region because he knows all the places in the area and gives you perfect tips on what...

Perfectly location in an area of outstanding beauty and with Alfonso an hospitable and amazing host, stunning scenery and rustic charm Ramallosa is a perfect retreat for getting away from the fast life. The finca produces its own olive and honey - both delicious. See you soon

I absolutely fell in love with the Finca. It was so peaceful and the scenery around was just stunning. It`s been a long time since we stayed somewhere that you could actually feel the stress leaving your body every night! The rustic stone houses are beautifully and sympathetically renovated and when we visited in October, the addition of a log...

La Ramallosa was one of our favourite places to stay in Spain. The rustic stone houses are spacious, comfortable and ever so inviting with the wood burning fireplaces. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in Las Jaras house which is a large, cosy, 2 bedroom house with fireplaces in the living room and both bedrooms....

If you like peace and quiet, stunning Country views, amazing home grown and cooked food and fine local wines - then Finca La Ramallosa is hard to beat. We stayed in mid October, just as temperatures were dropping slightly and it was lovely to come back to the log burning stove which had been lit for us in our cottage...

We had a wonderful week here in mid-September. It is an exceptionally well renovated old farming hamlet set in really lovely countryside. The accomodation is simple but perfect in its own way - comfortable, cosy, well cared for, crammed with interesting art. We enjoyed the pool, the alfresco lunches and the relaxation. Its a great base for exploring the Siera...

My wife and i have just visited this hotel on a tour around rural Spain. Our only mistake about our visit was that our stay was not longer. If you want to escape the fast pace of life, TV, noise etc, this is a place to be, it defines tranquility. We are already planning another visit at some stage, this...

We'll start by saying Finca La Ramallosa is not for everyone. It is isolated, it is remote, it is rural (no nearby towns/bars), it is quiet and for all these reasons for us it is perfect. Yes it is a 20 to 30 minute 6 km drive along a sometimes not great country lane. But if you are looking for...

Do you want to be in a remote nature area in Europe, whilst still enjoying good food and quality accomodation with lots of character then this is the place to be. We stayed with the family for 4 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere, walking, relaxing, food, scenery and hospitality of the owners. Highly recommendable!
