Having been a regular visitor to the East Neuk, I was surprised to discover the wonderful Cambo Estate which I had somehow missed. We stayed overnight - b&b in the garden suite of the large country house which has lovely suites as well as giving you access to a fabulous lounge, snooker room and amazing gardens and woodland. The beautiful... More

Just returned from what can only be described as the most unusual Glamping experience we have had so far. Two nights in Das Boot great time had by all the set up was great, a boat in the middle of the woods. Cooking under the stars with an open fire, fairy lights the lot. Fantastic will be back.

Beautiful house and most charming staff and host. We were due to stay two nights but unfortunately had to unexpectedly head home. The location is superb, it's very scenic and peaceful. The house is full of antiques and artefacts and very interesting. We were there in June and the house was very warm due to the heating being on, bit... More

Ok, this is an old estate house with classic old art, and the most unbelievable grounds I have ever seen. Great pillows and lots of space. My wife and I had a blast. No problem that the shower drained a little slow and the water pressure was weak, it's like staying in an 1800's barons house. Highly recommend .

We stayed in the new bell tents and renovated boat 'Das Boot' with exclusive use of the woodland kitchen and had a fab time! The boat is very quirky with a lovely decking area with stunning views out to sea! Spacious enough with the added bonus of heating and power! The bell tents are also great with comfy beds, plenty... I was one of 4 in a golfing group who stayed in the West Wing apartment. The accommodation was largely as I expected . 3 of us had to share one toilet and one shower room . Some of the furniture had seen better days . I fear the owners will have to decide whether a further major investment is... More

Was recently invited as a guest to a wedding reception. The estate is very grand and has a real period feel. The venue for the wedding is simply stunning and I have say was different but most enjoyable. The guest accommodation was very well laid out, tidy and everything was supplied. My only negative is the bed quality. They seem... More

Recently spent two nights staying in Cambo House, which was a thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience- From the initial booking on the phone,to the warm welcome we received when we arrived, everyone associated with the Esate was friendly and helped create the lovely atmosphere. The accommodation was amazing-roomy and beautifully appointed.Bathrooms modern and bedrooms/lounge traditional with period pieces.A fine contrast... There was... More

We visited on a cold day and took the opportunity to explore the grounds and visit the pigs. There are extensive woodland walks and you can walk along the coast. We warmed up with a bowl of soup and a sandwich which was reasonably priced. Great for kids as they can explore and no fee to park.

Had enjoyed visit to magnificent gardens here in July a couple of years ago and decided to try staying in lovely stately home. Totally different experience staying here as you feel like a house guest and are able to wander around and explore. Huge rooms and generally very well appointed although a lot of the house has an air of... More
