Our first visit to Cambo won't be our last. Friendly but unobtrusive staff. Having been shown to our magnificent room we didn't see anyone till next day at breakfast. You begin to think your in your own very splendid house. Very comfortable room, bed lovely and cosy, loved the antique furniture and all the ornaments. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast in... More

Stayed in one of the cottages on the estate with our dog. Very well equipped, clean and very well positioned cottage. Grounds and gardens of the estate are at your disposal. Lovely beach 5 minutes away. The estate is ideally located for visiting the lovely Fife coast and St Andrews is only 15 minutes away by car. The estate is... More

What a treat staying in the Yellow Room with its king size four poster bed and rolltop bath!! On the Friday night we had the whole place to ourselves-fantastic place to roam about - so many interesting things to see, especially as the Xmas tree was going up!! Fantastic location - 5 mins from the stunning beach at Kingbarns, lovely... More

We stayed in the Gardeners apartment for two nights in October..What a wonderful setting 5 mins. walk to the beach through the woods with the leaves turning all the colours of Autumn, perfect to take a dog. Only certain rooms allow a pet, but the Gardeners apartment is just perfect, no need to go through the main building as you... More

We did not stay overnight. We went here for an event, it was great, we are going again in a few weeks this time with our family. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly and comfortable, a little out of the way but we'll worth it.

Stayed for 3 nights in one of there snowdrop tents, it was the nicest tent I have ever stayed in. Double bed was very comfortable and warm. The cooking tent is well equipped, even includes a fridge, ( the freezer section can hold 6 cans and gets your beer cold within 20mins). The courtyard tearoom is very good but expensive.they... I cannot enthuse enough about this accommodation - in fact calling it "accommodation" is not doing it justice ! It is a Country Pile, of massive proportions, in several hundred acres - to stay here and be taken care of, but left alone to enjoy the house (within reason and respecting that it IS someone`s home) is a privilege that... We stayed at Cambo House for two nights after moving up to Scotland and we were very glad we booked there. We stayed in the upper servants which was bigger then our house and absolutely gorgeous. The estate is pet friendly and although we didn't have much time to explore a walk around the grounds and down the coastal path... More

The staff are friendly, however the "facilities" are tired and spread out around the grounds. The basketball court is mostly cracks and weeds with no nets and a broken ring. Both the tennis court and basketball court are surrounded by overgrowth and impossible to see from the accommodations. There are a few tree swings in the main garden and a... More
