We decided to try here because it has been some time since we ate here despite visiting Valloire in summer and winter for the last eight years. I had raw trout and grapefruit salad for starter followed by pork chop with cabbage and quinoa and to finish off rhubarb compote with white chocolate ice cream. All were very good. My...

Nicely refurbished hotel and restaurant with a slightly more dated bar on the side. The rooms are lovely, albeit small, with modern bathrooms and nice showers. Every member of staff we dealt with was a pleasure with one exception - the lady d'hote - who was just weird. We seemed to be too much trouble for her despite being pretty...

To judge a hotel on the room alone...and ultimately this is the most important part of a hotel...the Christiana Hotel's guest room is a 4 in any city and a 5 here in Valloire. I was put off by slightly deceptive practices. I arrived by motorcycle and was grabbed by their sign out front, saying "Garage Motos Vellos" (Garage for...

Lovely hotel, we stayed for one night whilst on a motorcycle touring holiday, lots of other bikers staying as well, but definitely not exclusively for bikers! Clean and spacious rooms, good service, the receptionist spoke good English (if this is important to you).

Stayed a night before next days cycling up the Galibier Very homely. I like the wooden them of the whole place. In the middle of town so you can walk anywhere from here. Staff are friendly and food is good. Pleasant stay here!

This hotel couldn't be better placed if skiing with children as its right next to ski school and the bubble lift. The staff were extremely welcoming and so kind with the children, cooking special meals and letting them have the run of the downstairs salon. Sandra even bought them a little present on the last day. Rooms were not huge...

Christiania Hotel could not be better placed in the village, right next to the main gondola and ski school, and only a few hundred yards from the Setaz gondola too. The hotel is owned by a husband and wife team and when we arrived as the only 2 guests of Crystal in the resort, we were met by Sandra in...

I stayed for one night in Sept and found the hotel to be very nice. It's located in the heart of the city and at the base of a great mountain pass for the motorcyclists. Restaurant and bar were very nice and the staff friendly. Rooms were a nice size with modern touches.

We spent only night thankfully as we found the staff mainly the waiter & the young waitress terribly rude & extremely unprofessional. The woman receptionist passes but without colours. The food was shocking as our entree was completely frozen! Have you ever eaten an egg or tomato hard as a rock? And when we told the waitress she simply replied...
