Le Valset is an ok apartment at this price. Central and quiet location with very good ski in ski out. Quite worn apartments and halfway cleaning, but you get what you pay for. Be aware of; No duvets, just blankets.

We stayed in a 6 bedroom apartment for a week during a ski trip in Val Thorens. The downside of the apartment was that two of the six beds where in a sofa in the living room. That did not give much privacy for the ones sleeping there. Other than that I only have positive things to say; enough dishes...

We had an Appartment for 6 persons. We stayed for the second time. We had a nice view on the frontside. Everything was clean, there is all you need. The Appartment was completely refurbished in 2013. If you use the backdoor of the building, you wil reach the slopes within 5 minutes. Le Valset is in the center of Val...

Me and my family have visited this apartment twice now and just returned from the 2nd stay. On arrival it was nice to see that the apartment we had this time round had been refurbished and was actually much nicer than the previous year. Still there is only one toilet! Which if like us there where 6 staying then it...

We stayed in VaLset for 1 week and after reading reviews of (not only VaLset) apartment size, we decided to book a bigger apartment. The facilities were more than expected and we cooked every day - even Raclette. The water pressure did drop at peak times so just showered at different times. Luckily there was enough snow so we were...

I visited this apartment as part of a family skiing holiday. The location of the apartment is great, it is straight of a blue run from the top of the resort and about 50m from the nearest supermarket - 8 a huit. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The accommodation is poor. The apartment we had was advertised for...

I booked an apartment for 8 as accommodation for skiing with three friends. First the good points. Valset is a ski-in ski-out property and is located close to a piste which leads directly to a number of useful lifts (e.g. plein sud) to start your days skiing. You get your own ski locker, although this is quite small even for...

Booked through skibed.com for skiing over Christmas and New Year 2008/9. Really enjoyed our stay and the accommodation was significantly better than some of the more typical 'tired' self-catered apartments. Very efficient arrival procedure but don't know if we were lucky with the timing as most places had queues! The apartment did cost more than others, however the slight increase...

“We had room 2406- duplex with 2 rooms (single and double) with space for 4 downstairs. Toilet downstairs and bathroom upstairs. There is also a storage area and fair sized balcony. The kitchen has a big window so it is airy when you cook.”
