4th visit and this chalet doesn't disappoint. Lovely chalet with well appointed rooms. Nice spa area with indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a sauna. Great staff, Jonas the manager was fab, Fin and Liv the hosts were hugely helpful and Nel the chef was utterly fabulous. Her food was superb, highlights were the egg, avocado and chorizo breakfast, arancini starter and the beef fillet was to die for! They worked well as a team and were a well oiled machine. I am sure we will be back soon!

Another great stay here! Once again Nell cooked up a storm in the kitchen and Liv, Fin and Jonas made sure everything ran smoothly! We were dropped off and picked up in the mini bus each day and nothing was too much trouble!Thankyou so much for looking after us! See you again!

So after our 9th visit to chalet la Sache in 8 years, we have got home and are busy reflecting on our latest trip. I think what makes this chalet so special is that over so many years, despite a new team every single year, we have never failed to have a great time. This week was particularly special Because of the brilliant snow ❄️ and sunshine ☀️ , but I have to say, we have had weeks of bad weather over the years (can’t blame them for that 😂), yet still a great holiday. For me, it all comes down to the owners, the personal touches, great recruitment and a real desire to look after guests. Not only are we fans, but the whole of our family now are also! Well done chalet la sache, and we look forward to seeing you for our 10th visit anniversary in 2020. Thanks to The whole team along with Nock and Justyna for providing us with another awesome week! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we have been fed and looked after by a wonderful dedicated team of Helen (manager), Nico, James and chef Nell. Brilliant first 3 days learning to ski for the first time and then the last 3 days exploring the local area using the free ski lifts (not all are free) and public transport which just made it all so easy and relaxing. Returning to Chalet la Sache in the afternoon for coffee and homemade cakes (even an avalanche was laid on, it seemed for us to watch on the opposite valley side which seemed surreal) before a relaxing hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi before rounding it all off each day with a fabulous meal, freshly cooked by Nell and her team. Just perfect. Thanks to the team for a great holiday.

Came here at the end of the season and we were lucky as they have had the most snow in 30 years. Hired the equipment locally and used local ski lifts and buses to ski areas. Having never skied before we took a two hour lesson on a synthetic slope at home and another two hours here. After that there are enough free lifts and runs to put the miles in, spent one day just round and round on a local blue run, then steeper bits to learn to stop then on to red (just the once and took it slow). The staff here have been fantastic, Helen the manager is relaxed and maintains a tidy well run chalet. Mel the chef is very good, fine dining in a family atmosphere rather than the usual family meals. As we came in two couples there were another two families staying, everyone got on very well, very different people who you wouldn't have normally put together but we have met some really good, friendly people. Location is central to the village and skiing with some local night life, bars and restaurants and the place is very family friendly. Probably not good for teen agers as no real night clubs. The facilities are good with hot tub, jacuzzi and sauna well maintained and clean. I would recommend this Chalet to anyone who wants to ski and relax and a big thanks to Helen and her team (James, Nic and Mel)
