Stayed here during our snowboarding holiday in Tignes. The apartment entrance is just a few hundred meters away from the Palafour Chairlift. The building has shops, bars, restaurants and supermarket in the same building which was really convenient. It was also just across the way from the Maison de Tignes (Information center) which has the bus stop just behind it. The area is also quite nice with plenty of food options around. It is also close to le lagon, Tignes space and the lakefront itself (with the #Tignes sign). The biggest issue was the heating. It was way too hot most of the time but you aren't able to change the heat settings. The elevators were also a bit tight, except for the big one, so getting in with gear or luggage required a bit of maneuvering to get to the access beeper. Check in and out was located away from the building. We did book linens which weren't given at the first check in so we had to go back to the shop to get them. One of the keys was also not working which required us going back to get it replaced. There was space for 4 but we were quite packed with 3 and all the luggage. The balcony was small but big enough to air out our gear before bringing them in for the night. The balcony did have nice views of the lake, town and mountainside. They also booked gear which was convenient. They did have WiFi but it was for a fee (which we didn't get). What did annoy me was that they advertised cheaper snow passes but when we asked about it it was the same price as buying it online since it was "the busy season". There were a few issues but overall it was a nice place to stay for a week. Price wise it wasn't too bad, compared to other places nearby. We were also there during the school holidays which probably would have made it more expensive.

first of all, location is the best I have ever had. lift is super close, bars in the first floor. supermarkets: Sherpa in the same building, carrefour across the street. very nice living room. spacious, connected with kitchen, plenty of cooking devices, excellent for home cooking. however bedrooms have neither windows nor ventilation. Therefore, the absence of fresh air and high temperature highly impacts the quality of stay. you cannot air flat even keeping windows in living room opened for a whole of a day and keeping radiators off. although flat is positioned as for 8 people, the maximum capacity is 6.

My friends and I chose to visit Tignes Le Lac for a week in July 2014. I cannot recommend this place enough, perfect for friends, family's and couples. You name the sport and the guys in Tignes have thought it through. We spent the majority of our mornings up on the glacier skiing, which was lovely as it snowed most evenings and mountain biking our afternoons away across the Tignes and Val d'isire bike parks. If this isn't enough for you though there unlimited activities to chose from all situated around the lake in le lac and when the weather comes in a bar with the views is never a disappointment. When Tignes Le Lac is on the cards i'm not quite sure why your would chose any other typical summer holiday destination - it has all you could need and more! Friendly receptionist, two spar's to chose from and great shopping, restaurants and summer markets around most days! Great choice for that active summer holiday!

I have been in tignes le lac with my partner in the winter season to sky. The room was small and not so clean, and every day, in the morning, about 9 am, there was a food smell which came from the sink. The bathroom was small too. But the location was perfect. Just in front of the sky lift. I would recommend it only if you don't expect too much.
