Stayed with my family over the New Year 2013/2014. Had a wonderful time because of the following: 1) The evening meals were simply amazing! Fine dining every night, but a lovely, casual atmosphere. It was like Master Chef every night. Also they were generous with things like bread etc - always topped up without having to ask. The New Years... More

Great little place situated smack bang on the edge of the lake! what more could you want! Great staff who couldnt do more for us on our stay for a week. The food was out of this world very professionally made and something you would expect in a 5* Restaurant. Only a little niggle and it is a little one... More

We have just spent a week in the Terrachu and have had to loosen our belts and go on a diet. The food was out of this world, the staff were cheery and helpful and the bedroom was simple but comfortable with stupendous views. The terrace was wonderful with comfortable couches and great service and we took advantage of this... More

I was booked to stay half-board at the Terrachu for 10 days. My first night I had trouble sleeping because the room was too hot (I could not control the temperature because the radiator valve did not work). I brought this to the attention to the manageress who apologised but said there was no way to individually control room temperatures;... More

Just returned from Lo Terrachu having spent 5 nights there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely amazing! The rooms are basic but warm and are fairly spacious and we had a fantastic view over the lake towards Val Claret. The only downside is the water system. The hotel is old and the bathrooms could... Just returned from an amazing stay at Lo Terrachu. The staff were so welcoming and the food was out of this world! Nothing was too much trouble. It is an old hotel and so not the height of luxury but I have no complaints. The view is incredible, looking out across the lake towards Val Claret first thing in the... More

We stayed half board for a week. Although i have nothing bad to say about the food & Drink i have plenty to moan about the room and decor of the place! i honestly was a bit shocked when shown the room for the first time. It looked like a teenager's room, brashly painted and cobbled together. The quality of... More

We were left to fend for ourselves on our reps night off so we ended up in Lo Terrachu. Great food and great service would sum up our visit. The pork was amazing and I ate far too much cheese but I would recommend it to anyone. Also, if you like your wines, the house red and white were bang... More

If you ask our six year old son what was the best bit of his stay at Lo Terrachu, he would say that he got to sleep in the bed of a queen, he's not wrong! The beds were so luxurious and comfortable, our room was great, we had a king size and two full singles, with plenty of space... More
