This is the place for those of you who appreciate sleeping on an extra firm bed made out of rough wooden planks and for those of you who like to bring everything your selves, including the soap to wash your hands and the mug for brushing your teeth. A great place to practise your skils in Italian, since that is...

We stayed at the Aigle in early April 2016, with Skiworld. Our rooms were reasonable sized (it pays to select your rooms from the floor plans on the Skiworld site - not all are the same size), clean and warm - in fact too warm until we'd turned the thermostat to zero. Unlike many ski chalet rooms there were plenty...

We Spent a week though Ski World. Mixed group of 42 people. Facilities were great including pool and sauna. Well stocked bar with bar games. Staff really friendly and helpful. Organised a bar crawl and sledging for us. food was excellent. Chalet was close to the lifts about a 5 minute walk. Would definitely recommend!

Firstly ignore the address given on TripAdvisor, this chalet is on Rue des Almes in Tignes du lac! Took a group of 40 and we had sole occupancy of this chalet. The staff could not have been more friendly or attentive to our needs, particularly those of the two children in our party, excellent service. Food was plentiful and of...

The Hotel Aigle is a comfortable place to spend a week on holiday but it is not luxurious. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. The food is very good and wholesome with just enough choice to keep the tastebuds interested. The chef will always try to create something else if the days menu doesn't suit. Be aware that...

We visited chalet and despite reading reviews before we arrived were surprised that the food actually was ok, but the noise from large groups in the dining area was immense, if you are a couple or small family I would check to see if there are going to be large groups visiting at the same time. Also the chairs scrape...

Having read some recent reviews about the poor food quality, I was expecting the worst. I was pleasantly surprised, so much so that I enquired if they had changed the chef; but no, it has been the same chef all along! The quality of food all week was excellent. The staff were all excellent, making us all feel very welcome....

My girlfriend and I had a lovely week at the Chalet Hotel Aigle. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier the place was neat and tidy and the food was perfectly adequate. We stayed up on the Third floor in a nice roof with lots of storage. Although the chest of draws were not very smooth running and the shower had...

If you've been to a Skiworld chalet before then you'll know what to expect. The rooms are basic (bit small) but warm and have good showers. There is a nice sauna and a cold swimming pool. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. Unfortunately it's all a bit let down by the food where the chef seems to think he's...

This was our 6th year (of the last 9) in skiworld chalets/lodges so we knew what to expect and we weren't disappointed. The team were lovely, the communal areas pleasant and the food was pretty good (maybe the chef was spurned on by previous trip advisor reviews). We'd travelled as a group of 2 couples. Most others were there as...
