Great staff, large, airy (but fairly basic) bedroom, v good and clean bathroom. The bed was amazingly comfy. Fantastic location. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but a local restaurant owner assured us that the food is excellent. The experience was so good that we're planning on returning in a couple of weeks.

I was intrigued by this place, being the oldest hotel school in France, and it was a revelation. From the moment you enter, you're among the nicest, smiliest young people trying very hard to make it all brilliant for you. The room was modern and comfortable with Occitan toiletries and a balcony overlooking the lake. The restaurant was a hoot - so many staff members! But the food was excellent, the service impeccable (watched over by the teacher who tutted discreetly if something was done wrong) and we had a lovely chat with our waiter who told us of places to visit in the area. Thoroughly recommended and totally charming.

I just spent one night at the Hotel School Hotel Outstanding experience. I wished I had the same quality of service in all my hotels. These young students work so hard to make your stay a very pleasant one. Chapeau. I wish them all the very best of luck in their demanding industry. My room was impeccable, with a great view on the Geneva Lake and Thonon's harbour. My continental breakfast was perfect with very good pastries and coffee. Give these kids a chance and stay there but beware of the closing dates.

We booked this hotel not knowing its background as a college for hotelier students. To put it simply it is run by the students who try their best to provide the highest of standards which they achieve with a flair of warm friendliness. The rooms are great and the housekeeping is without fault. We ate at the restaurant which was some experience and well worth it. To be recommended, thank you.
