Since 1955, the Castillan family have been your hosts, featuring the same quality service... In the pure tradition of this hotel passed on from father to son, Julien and his wife Stéphanie have taken up the torch... Simplicity, quality and authenticity, summer and winter alike, with resort's slopes and other activities (particularly summer ones) just nearby : tennis, swimming pool, golf, skating rink, horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, aeromodelling...

Great hotel, really comfortable with small kitchen but enough for cooking or preparing fast meal. Smaller rooms but really cozy. Everything really close and great view for mountains. Thank you and recommend!!!

A real family run hotel that gives you the feeling and the benefits of such hotel. We enjoyed the hospitality of Stephanie , her husband and the others. Not a Ski In/ Ski Out per say - For ski out you need to walk less than 50m, BUT beginners will have difficulties to get to the chair lift, Ski In is about 100m walk, very reasonable unless you are realty spoiled.... Wi Fi is working perfect in the rooms and in the lobby. The lobby is really nice to relax area after ski hours with comfortable couches and great view. . Food is absolutely great , take HB : Dinners are great ! I would not recommend the Ski store below, not the best / widest portfolio of products. Room size is very reasonable, we had the south face which has great views.

This is the second time I have stayed here during the 2014/15 ski season. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms and facilities are basic but the location is a stones throw from booze and food.

Very good hôtel at all the levels (staff, rooms, lounge, calm, price, service, wifi ...) except the breakfast which lacks of hot variety. The hotel is 2 minutes walk for the tele-cabins leading to the main ski lifts and 5 minutes for the center of the village. A ski shop (friendly owners) is situated at its entrance and next to ski lockers (very practical).

I have been to this hotel three years in a row to ski, and it is everything you'd expect from a French ski hotel. Friendly staff, great bar, nice rooms - can't fault it. The best thing is the owners and staff are very helpful, polite and friendly and can't do enough to help.

We were skiing in Alpe D'Huez with friends recently. We really enjoyed staying in the hotel, the staffs were very friendly and nice, and the food was delicious as well. The hotel is at a very convenient location, near the coach stop, the lift, a supermarket anf restaurants. Highly recommended.

I have stayed in alp d huez many times and I have used this hotel the last few. It's by far and away the best I have used. Bike friendly with great facilities for cyclists. The staff are all polite and can not do enough to help out quests. I have recently raced there in horrendous conditions and the people from the hotel helped throughout, they improved my week there immensely.

Hi, nice family run hotel, its clean, staff are friendly, breakfast is good, rather nice view, Conveniently placed in the centre of Alpe d'huez- easy to get to the restaurants and bars. We were there for a cycling event and were given secure access to the garage.

For all the hype of Alpe d'Huez which is a wonderful active location this hotel is a great retreat. From very helpful front desk to bar and wait staff you feel as though you really are a "guest" in the best sense of the word. The rooms though small are clean tidy and have good bathroom facilities. The in house restaurant is well worth a visit or two. Highly recommend.
