The Altiport location of Chalet Louisa in Alpe D'Huez is perfect for accessing the slopes & boasts true ski in ski out facilities. We skied right to the door every day during our stay and for those not confident on blue runs a free bus service runs regularly. The location is in a quiet area, slightly out of town just... More

We had a great week in Chalet Louisa. The staff were excellent, providing wonderful food and coping well with a gluten intolerant guest. We could all ski in and out and this included some beginners. The only grouse was early morning noisy bulldozer!

We stayed at Chalet Louisa from the 19th December for a week which included Christmas day. The chalet hosts were willing but lacked training for example - timings required for cooking were miscalculated, so on a number of evenings dinner was very late, they also overcooked most of the food including the salmon, pork and turkey en-croute. The staff day... More

We stayed here at the beginning of March. The chalet hosts Ellie and Marcus were lovely, and efficient, the food adequate and nicely presented, and everything was clean. Good boot/ski room with boot warmers, and proper ski in ski out off a green run. Our bedroom (room six I think) was so small it had no wardrobe, just a rail... More

Where do I start, broken window, broken doors and broken promises. The chalet is in a great location, provides ski-in ski-out accommodation and also great staff! However with children younger than four a broken glass window with glass still on the floor is inappropriate, I hope that the managers of ski world can find time to listen to their customers... Lovely chalet , comfortable ,great views , virtually on the piste . As with other reviewers there is a problem with noise from bedroom to bedroom , and being in the construction industry this is something I deal with in a regular basis so denial by tour operator is nonsense . But...... Don't let this put you off chalet hosts... More

We have just returned from our week long stay at Chalet Louisa. We were a group of 16, and all had a brilliant time. The chalet is lovely, and great for ski in ski out. Viv and Ellen did a fab job of looking after us, and cooked some lovely food each evening. The hot tub and sauna were also... More

We stayed in Chalet Louisa as a large group with 2 under 3's. Our chalet hosts (Viv and Elin) met us at the coach drop off point and were helpful and friendly from the start! The food they cooked was great all week and they catered for all the groups dietary/food requests. Our rep Felicity was also great, popping in... More

This property is quite a mixed bag. It is rated by Ski World as 4 star plus. I think this is definitely too high. The plus points are, it is in a good location, ski in, ski out. Not so good if you want to spend time in the town of Alpe Dhuez, which is a good walk away, or... More

Room 2 is definitely the best. It may be on the lower floor but it's quiet and very close to the hot tub (the others complained they could hear every conversation the other rooms were having). It's the biggest and for me it's important to have a bath to relax in after a days skiing. Good view of the slopes,... More
