Booked this apartment for 3 people.
Lovely little apartment, chalet feel. Lovely and warm, 4 single beds provided - two in a bedroom, the other two in the kitchen/dining/living room. Kitchen area had a fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave and kettle. Lots of crockery and pans too.
The hot tub was wonderful although it shuts at 7pm daily.

The hotel provide a free ski locker, but we chose to pay 20 euros for the week and use the ski locker at skiset (located below the gondola station).

Quick 5 min walk to the gondola station - eureca is located opposite the Savoy hotel. Gondola takes 27mins from brides to meribel centre, first gondola up at 8.30am, and last one down at 1730.

Amazing boulangerie right next to the entrance door - perfect for morning croissants, and and afternoon tea cake.

Cute village with a range of fabulous restaurants, we ate at Hotel Le Centre, Hotel du Golf, La cabane, La montagne, Hotel Altis Val Vert.

negatives:
- Wifi isn't very reliable - it was slow and often only worked well after about 10pm.

- On arrival we had trouble with ants in the kitchen area, reception provided an insect spray and offered to move us.

- Bath didn't drain very well.

Overall we would stay here again.

I suppose the worlds biggest ski area must be on your to do list if you like skiing.A word of caution here especially if you are an average income family of four, inc kids.

If you have not skied in Austria yet then do so before you experience the eye watering prices that Meribel proudly charges. There's more and better apres ski in Austria more things to do off the hill and more friendly family run hotels and restaurants.
For the same price as a run down sparsely furnished self catering appt in Meribel ie The Brimbles, or the Chalet de Meribel you could be well looked after in a half board 3/4 star hotel
in Austria.
The only reason I've been to Meribel 3 times is to watch the British Championships at the dearest time of year Easter, Our son competes there every year.

In 2009 I refused to pay £22.50 for a tarte tatin (four 4) at the pattisserie, I did however 3 days ago pay £2.50 for a packet of walkers crisps in the old Cactus Bar near the Chaudanne.

Brides Les Bains is a cheaper option and the Eureca Appts were clean much more homely than the aforementioned places in Meribel. Freshly laundered sheets, pillow cases, towels, and even napkins were laid out on arrival. The concierge office is on the top floor and staffed from 9am-7pm so unlike Meribel no trekking accross town to collect or return your keys.
Also on check out, they just pop into your room to check its clean and immediately give you your credit card deposit of £200 back, no money changes hands.
Their is plenty of wardrobe /cupboard space a flat screen TV are just some of the nice little touches.
Minor quibbles, hot tub jets not all working and temp warm but not hot, steam room OK, lounge area close at 7pm, free wifi is useless, logging on a pain and very slow (actually did me good not to be on smart phone or computer for a few days!)

Location is perfect in Brides, central, spar supermarket and delicatessan /grocers next door next to the free shuttle bus stop which saves the 200m uphill walk to the gondola which then takes 20 mins up to the Chaudanne. The car trip to the Chaudanne also takes 20 mins.
There is a free evening bus to meribel on Tuesdays return about midnight.

The nearest (covered) car park to the ski area- Chaudanne , costs around £10 per day cheaper by the week.
No we are not talking luxury here but if you insist self catering in the 3 Valleys this is pretty good.
I was travelling without wifey this time for 5 days, flew to Geneva. Theres a good bus service to Brides (3 hrs) and all other ski resorts Altibus £100 return. It is a cheaper and quicker option for I or 2 people than driving from Devon. 12 hrs door to door. You dont need a car in Brides

Brides is not an unattractive town the bars, restaurants, and tourist office etc are all a few metres away, there is a fab "boulangerie de source" nearby with cakes and pastries 10 times cheaper than meribel !
However nightlife is very low key. (Most Brits frequent Le petite Auberge, bar/restaurant,on the main street, Pizza v good at 10 euros, will feed 2 kids)

As I've said before Austria has it all, "ski heil"
Motto for Brides "Pay less, Ski More"

This is not really a hotel but a flat building. The rooms are not large but ok, clean, confortable and quiet. There is a bit of a distance to the ski lifts, about 10 minute walk...which is reasonable. At the top floor there is a little spa, with jacuzzi, sauna and massage chairs. It really ok for the price

Booked the place not 2 weeks before going so was happy to find something. We went with friends so we booked two studios.
The receptionist seemed a bit chaotic to me, but it was OK.
There is a wellness part in the residence with a jacuzzi and hammam which unfortunately we didn't manage to use due to our short 2-night stay.
The hotel is about 10 minutes walk (in skiboots :-) ) from the cabin which takes you to trois vallées.
Overall the accomodation was OK, but there are couple of things I would point out.
- The heating in our friends' room didn't work the first night, so they were freezing. Second day it was fine.
- Our shower ran out of hot water after 7-10 minutes or so and were left half soaped with freezing water. The neighbours didn't have a problem with that, so this might have been a one-off.
- The beds were not made, so we had to make the beds ourselves. There was no real (fluffy) blanket but rather some cheapo looking plaids plus sheets, so basically you put a sheet on the bed, another sheet on that and then the plaid on top, just like in the fancy hotels (but there they use proper blankets at least).
- The kitchen is nicely equipped, although the space is just enough to prepare breakfast. Don't expect to do proper cooking. There is a dishwasher which I found very nice, but they don't give any dishwasher liquids or tabs with it. Also there was nothing do wash the dishes with in the sink, not sponge / brush, not liquid. So you need to take your own or buy some.
- There is a lockable ski and boots storage compartment for every room downstairs, which is good. But they are not well taken care of, they are a bit dirty and some spiderwebs hanging around.

All in all this would be a very nice hotel, good value for money, but the aboves just make it an average.

We booked two apartments at this property based on price (compared to staying in one of the big name villages in the three valleys) and close proximity to the Olympic gondola (which takes you to Meribel). The setup is a bit quirky in that the entrance to the building is located between a row of shops and looks like the entrance to a residential apartment building. When you enter the unlit entrance, you then take a lift to the reception located on the sixth floor. Once you have negotiated that, everything else is plain sailing. We found the reception staff extremely helpful and the apartments well equipped throughout (including hairdryer, iron and ironing board etc). The complex differs from a hotel in that you do have to make your beds up with the sheets/pillowcases provided and you are expected to leave the apartment as you found it (hoover etc is provided). However, if you don't want to clean the apartment prior to departure you can pay something like 30 euros for this to be done for you). Underground parking is available at a cost of 5 euros per day. Pick up a ski-set leaflet from reception and you can get a 20% reduction on ski hire charges from their shop about 200 metres from the apartments. The Olympic gondola is about the same distance away. A Spar supermarket is less than 100 metres from the building. Compared to our previous experiences of staying in a number of big name resorts in France, we found the levels of service at businesses in Brides-les-Bains to be friendly and efficient. However, do not expect a pretty alpine village with cosy apres-ski bars and restaurants. The village has the feel of a functional provincial French town with the bars we saw being occupied mainly by local men watching football on TV. Bottom line is this is a good location and property if you want to ski the Three Valleys on a budget. Finally, if you drive in to the village from the direction of Moutiers, the apartment complex is on the right opposite the highly visible hotel Savoy on the left hand side of the road.

On the face of it, our accommodation at the Eureca looked promising. Although the entrance was confusing and we were plunged into darkness whenever the timer on the lights turned off, the reception staff who greeted us were lovely and friendly. We were immediately shown to a nice communal area and shown the spa and steam room. Our room was spacious with a single bed each for family members (two adults and a child). This does mean that you are living in your bedroom but that's OK when you are out a lot. On arrival we had to make up the beds and empty the dishwasher, not great when it's late and you are tired after a long journey. The kitchen was spacious and quite well equipped but there was only a tiny table in the sleeping area, two chairs and something resembling a piano stool. Barely sufficient room for 3 people and certainly no good for proper family meals or visitors. The promised wifi (essential for my husband's work) only worked for a very short period on the odd occasion. We were not the only ones in the communal area tearing their hair out at the lack of signal, the response was simply "the signal in Brides isn't always good". After a hard day's skiing we were looking forward to a spa. Showered and wet, we prepared to get in, only to discover that the water was barely tepid! The staff member's response was "it's not too hot, it's not too cold". In other words it was broken, no wonder it was empty for the whole duration of our stay! In contrast, the steam room was monopolised by a large family and impossible to use. We hoped that the reason there was no water for a day was because it was actually being repaired, I do not know if this is the case. Finally, when you check in, you are informed that a deposit will be taken subject to your room passing inspection on departure (beds stripped, apartment cleaned, dishes done etc). Fair enough, however another major irritation...... the Villa does not provide any cleaning things other than a broom and vacuum cleaner. Not so much as one dishwasher tablet, tiny bottle of detergent or sponge and yet there's a cleanliness inspection! Being expected to buy these sort of items at grossly inflated prices from the local store is an annoying outlay for a short stay. A few dishwashing tablets would cost the Eureca much less than the sense of meanness it imparts. Finally, people talk about what a great location Brides is. Be aware, from Eureca, it's a huge walk up the hill to the gondola. Unless you love exercise, it's not much fun navigating a steep icy road wearing ski boots and carrying skis and poles, especially after a big day on the slopes the day before. Also worth noting, the first Gondola departs at 8.30 so it's hectic trying to get to ski lessons that start at 9.15. The last one runs at 4.30 so any apres activity, ice skating etc. is out of the question. We ended up driving to Meribel some days just to avoid the hike up the hill, Gondola timing issues and the time wasted on the one hour round trip. Next time I would definitely spend the extra money to be in the snow and amongst the action. There is a better choice of activities up on the mountain and prices for restaurants and the little supermarket are no more expensive. In our circumstances, having travelled a long way to ski it was a false economy in less than satisfactory accommodation.

These are not the most luxurious apartments but then again you only pay a fraction of that in the three valleys resorts. They are clean and well equipped and we were not disappointed due to the amount we paid. The staff are efficient and helpful and the communal areas are well maintained. The village lacks any heart and soul and the shop does not really stock anything more than basic provisions which poses a problem as when on holidays it is nice to treat yourself to finer food. Eating out is OK but is the same price as in the lovely mountain cafes and higher resorts and very busy. We previously hired equipment from ski set in the town but this year hired skis from the telecabine and found the quality much worse and were unhappy with the standard.
Its a affordable way to ski half term in the 3 valleys, the weather was wall to wall sun so we had a great week.

We stayed for 3 nights over Christmas. We had arranged to arrive late after reception closed. The key was left in a secure box for us and the pin code was emailed in advance. All worked slick as you like. The residence was perfect. Warm with all the self catering facilities you could want. Electric Shutters kept out the street lighting at night. Underground car parking was perfect with no issues about Street parking and struggling with bags etc over icy pavements after dark. We self cleaned before we left. The proprietor was great. Very helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again. We have stayed at many places in brides over the years and as residence goes this probably the best.

We were nervous coming into the hotel as most reviews weren't great and walking up the building, it didn't look great on the outside either but as we got out of the lift onto the 6th floor where the reception was, we were pleasantly welcomed by the most happy and enthusiastic receptionists. They took our details (and our card details to take a deposit of 200euro, although the 200euro wasn't actually taken out of the account). They then proceeded to show us a commons room which contain a bar, pool table and seating area, which we actually didn't use once. Then to a jacuzzi (we used every day after skiing, what better way to relax after a day on the slopes!!) and a gym. Then onto our room which was on the 7th floor. The studio room is small but cozy, perfect for just the two of us! The interior and decor was lovely, nice french chalet feeling with wooden everything! Very little complaints about the studio itself, spotless, clean, warm, kitchen was modern and looked new, same with the bathroom and a lot of storage. Wifi worked perfectly for us, only once or twice that it didn't work for 5 minutes max! We were able to watch netflix and movies online every night! Only complaint is that there is two separate beds and not one double bed. The hotel also provide you with a locker room for your skiis free of charge. The hotel is only about a 5 minute walk to the gondola up to meribel.I would 100% recommend staying in the eurica residence if staying in bride les bains. If on a budget ski holiday (my boyfriend and i are students) this hotel and bride les bains is a perfect location. Gondola is about 30 mins up to meribel and there were never long queues waiting for them. Les 3 vallees is spectacular and would 100% recommend getting the 3 vallees ski pass! The vast amount of slopes are amazing, never a dull moment!
