It is what it is. Cheap and close to highway. Beds are comfy and staff was friendly. Breakfast plenty for €7.50. Stay away from the two restaurants across the road and you will have a good stay. Very recommendable for a quick stopover to break up the long trips

We stayed here for 2 nights when the air con in Apart City Valence was not working. Unfortunately they had issues with their aircon too - it was exceptionally hot. The hotel looked dated, but was clean and otherwise nice. The pool area was wonderful, excellent sun beds, just wish there had been more urgency to fix the aircon. Other... More

The bed is large (king size?) the TV very small, the bathroom has a full shower and plenty of space, carpet has been replaced, and the hotel is clean. Breakfast has dropped the eggs and bacon and replaced them with cheese, more fruit, and bread style items. Breakfast price is down to 10 Euros. Dinner in the restaurant was good... More

As with some of my other reviews from my trip to France I have to review the places I stopped based on what I wanted out of the hotel. Since this was a solo driving stop I required two things, a bed, and a secure carpark space. Hotel du Rhone provided me with both. The large carpark was very good... More

Room is large enough and bathroom is nice with a full size tub/shower. I have found European budget hotels to often be short on space in the room and having extremely small showers, not the case here. Staff was not as friendly as my last visit but was OK. Breakfast was cold meats, bacon and scrambled eggs, yogurt, fresh bread... More

In April 2009 this hotel dropped its affiliation with Mercure. It is now called Motel de Rhone (?). The room was clean and pleasant., everything worked including the air conditioner. Breakfast very nice, staff pleasant. Located right along the Rhone River and there is a nice walking path along the river. Dinner at the hotel was excellent.

We stayed on a Saturday night for a stop-over in June. There were few people staying. Usual two star Mercure in appearance, room size and comfort. Minimal staff who were pleasant and ran both the reception and the small restaurant. The hotel is well off the main road. It does offer a small pool and sun terrace, and it’s also... More
