I was there on a Rick Steve's tour in July, 2007, and loved the place! I have a friend who is there right now (September, 2016) and her photos bring back such lovely memories. When I was there the church bell in the belfry rang day AND night, and I had trouble sleeping. Sometime since 2007, the bell broke, and... More

Sept 2016 was our third stay, during bicycle trips in Provence, at Hostellerie le Beffroi, and as in the past everything and everyone was wonderful. All of the hungry riders loved the breakfasts and dinners. This is the hotel - the "must stay" hotel - inside the old walled city within Vaison-la-Romaine, France.

Stayed here one night while on a cycling tour. A unique setting up in the old town. My preferred rating is 3.75, but I suppose that rounds to a 4. The room was just average but it had a nice view above a quiet pool and overlooking the main town and surrounding region. No a/c but not a problem in... More

We stayed here as part of our biking trip. Very centrally located, perched atop the old village by the bell tower and has a great view of the city of Maison La Romaine below. We had one of the rooms right on top; Prunus. Cute room, spacious, very clean, no A/C so does get very humid and stuffy, wifi is... More

Really lovely location in the old town and a very nice room. Staff really helpful in helping with the car parking. We took our 2 small dogs and the were welcome in the hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

Arriving is like stepping into an Alexander Dumas novel and you expect to see the three musketeers on the panoramic terrace having this hotel's wonderfully decadent lunch. Park opposite in what looks like a 16th century stable. Stay in resplendent rooms overlooking the town and the mountains. Best of all is the discreet pool for guests where you can chill... More

We stayed with friends, and highly recommend it. Natalie in reception was a delight. Beautiful ancient village, and great hotel. We would stay again. Breakfast in the garden was a highlight. Market day was also a must do while staying in Vaison la Romaine. A gorgeous part of Provence

A great place to relax. Rooms are comfortable. Pool is welcomed, if not needed, in July. Staff is very attentive, especially Natalie in the evening. A great place to dine with a view. I only wish they had more food choices to dine twice. Driving to the hotel is exhilarating and a good story to tell when you get back.... More

We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was the favorite for my fiancé. It's a beautiful location and a really neat town. Our room did not have AC, which is normally a must for us, but we still enjoyed our stay. The views were awesome and the restaurant in the hotel was delicious too.

We had a big room in a historical house 2 houses away from the amin building. The room was quiet, clean, with a marvelllous view over the valley. No airco but a ventilator, and that was ok. The swimming pool is small, but very nice & pleasant, with the same nice view! I recommend you the restaurant in de calm... More
